This campground is very quiet, but close to the ferry and great food. Power and water are convenient on the sites and dump station is accessible on the way out. Baybreeze has great food across the street and the ferry is right next door.
Quiet, low key place to stay! They don’t have power and water at site, but you can run your generator from 7-10. There’s no hot water in the shower houses, but they are clean and well maintained. Overall great place to stay. Right in the middle of the town of Ocracoke and the ferry.
Great place to stay. Lots of permanent campers. Some sites may be difficult to back in just depending on where you are and type of camper. The club house is the place to go shower if you need to use the showers as the front bathhouse was closed and the bath house in the back had no hot water when we where there but the clubhouse definitely makes up for that. Lots of hiking on site as they have over 1200 acres right there. I did not hike so I don’t know about them.
A lot to do for kids. Close to mount p shopping. There’s an on site dog park that dogs can swing in the lake as well. There’s also frisbee golf on site.
Great place to stay to fish boat or explore the lake. Bathroom were cleaned. There’s a little store on site. Boat ramp fuel and marina on site. Fishing pier to fish off. Boat trailer storage is free. Beach boat parking is free. Marina slip are $5 a night.
Great place to stay. Lots to do just at the park or right across the street at Brookgreen gardens. Love staying here when we want to camp close to home but need a peaceful place to enjoy. You can walk down the beach and fish off the jetties gives you a great place to watch the sunset over the ocean.
Great place but hot not many shaded spots. There is a fishing dock but not really anywhere to swim unless you have a boat. A beach or somewhere to jump in the river would make this place much better.
Fishing pier right there near camping site. Grab your pole and catch dinner or venture out to one of the many great restaurants the grand strand area has to offer.
Great place for your family to have a great weekend or week at the beach. Lots of kid things to do close to shopping centers and eight in the beach.
Great place for kids and dogs. Most camp spots have a great distance between them for dogs to have space. Also a great place for boaters. We pull out boat right up to the camp spot. We have a truck camper a 3500 ram and our boat trailer on the site with room for two more cars if needed. The bathrooms were nice and clean as well.
Stayed at this place because we couldn’t find anywhere else to stay but we wanted to be on the river. We stay up in the “pines” with our truck camper. They had a 30 amp hookup up there for us. Camp host are awesome people everyone was super helpful. We explored the National Forest most of the time we were there. But use rafting was right there if you wanted to go rafting you could. We will definitely go back to stay. Oh and there is also a small bar Nextdoor at USA rafting.
They have really nice cabins on the water. A boat ramp and marina for boats. Really great place to stay if you want to fish around georgetown SC or just explore the history of georgetown. The camp host are wonderful helpful people. There a food lion and gas stations not to far away.
Great family campground we’ve stayed at many times this year. Water park for kids and beach access.
We’ve stayed here many times it’s a great family campground with plenty for kids to do as well as beach access for the campground and golf cart rentals so you don’t have to walk to the beach.
