Eldridge Guard Station — Custer Gallatin National Forest

Anglers and hikers use Eldridge Guard Station as a base for exploring the Taylor Fork drainage and nearby creek systems. This Forest Service facility sits on open terrain with rough access roads that require careful navigation, particularly for larger RVs or trailers.

The $75 nightly rate includes pet-friendly accommodations, and advance reservations help secure this single-unit rental during peak season. Creek proximity provides water access, while the surrounding national forest land offers dispersed camping alternatives like Gallatin NF Dispersed — FS 1347 Taylor Creek for those seeking different arrangements. The guard station serves groups wanting a structured stay in this remote section of the Gallatin Range.
