Off a gravel road near the Little Wilson Falls trailhead, Wilson Streams Area provides six primitive first-come, first-served campsites at no charge. Sites 1, 2, 3, and 6 sit directly along the stream with water access and tall trees for shade, while sites 4 and 5 occupy a shrubby area across the road with limited shade. Each site includes a picnic table and fire pit, though campers must obtain a fire permit before lighting fires. A vault toilet serves the area, but no potable water is available. The campground accommodates walk-in camping with adjacent parking spaces suitable for cars but not RVs, and enforces a five-night maximum stay with occupancy limited to eight people and one dog per site. Monson, five miles away, offers resupply options including a general store and Appalachian Trail Visitor Center for those exploring camping spots near Willimantic.
