Cracker Barrel — Clearwater (Largo)

Upon calling this location this morning, I spoke with a wonderful lady who told me that, due to changes in Pinellas County law (2024), and post-COVID, they no longer allow overnight parking.

I explained it was needed for just one night while traveling through. She said they do not allow it. Apparently, they had some problems. :(

UPDATE: I've since seen the review, posted a day after I called CB, that stated there were several parked overnight. Maybe I just got misinformed by the Cracker Barrel employee on the phone! Let's hope so! :)

I just think that there needs to be many other businesses and restaurants and such that offer parking for people that are traveling to just get a little bit of rest. When I pulled up, there was a good 20 to 30 vehicles here. It's in a business area and it's clean and safe as far as I can tell Very quiet for the most part besides the road. But thank you, Cracker Barrel for offering a little bit of love to people like me who just need a little break !!!

The parking lot is huge, it is very quiet from about 11:00 p.m. until around 8:00 in the morning. I stayed there twice recently and I estimate there were at least 20 RVs each time.
