To reach the hot springs, take Highway 178 west from Lake Isabella through the Kern River Canyon. The parking area is located off Kern Canyon Road. From there, you'll need to hike down a moderately steep trail to reach the hot springs along the riverbank. The springs are visible from the road as small concrete tubs built into the riverbank.
