Perfect for a group getaway!

We loved this campground! We had a group of around 20, ranging in age from 12 to 50. The campground is clean and there is plenty of room for a large group. There are 2 nice picnic tables, a large firepit with a cooking grate, a big barbecue and a clean pit toilet. It is set back from a moderately traveled dirt road. You can hear and see the cars going by, but you are far enough back from the road that it isn't bothersome. We loved the privacy that you won't get in a normal campground. We could be as loud as we wanted, and didn't have to worry about bothering or being bothered by other campers. The location is on the way to the Butler Peak fire lookout, and other backroad trails. It's far enough away from town that you don't get the crowds, but close enough to drive down for a day on the lake or a stop into the grocery store.

Everyone in our group has recommended this site to friends and we're all looking forward to camping he are e again.
