Forni Horse Camping

Our home is on a 17 acre parcel in Middletown, CA. We are at the south end of Lake County, just north of Napa County. We are located down the street from the Middletown Arena, where numerous horse shows and rodeos are held. The Middletown Junior Rodeo is held about 4 miles from us. We can provide camping and parking when local rodeos are crowded. We have 3 horses ourselves and about 15 acres of fenced and crossed fenced pasture. Much of the pasture is in our walnut orchards, so there is a lot of shade. We have a well that we use for watering the horses, but it is not for humans. We can certainly rustle up drinking water for humans, plus ice, by the glass. No charge, but we are limited in that service. :) grin. If you are driving and need a stopover place, we are happy to accommodate. We are between Highway 29 and Highway 175, so access is easy. We can provide room for your horse to move around and graze while you relax and sleep. This is our first try as a campground, so please be patient while we learn how to be hosts.
