Reaching Long Creek Campsite requires hiking in from the nearest trailhead at Albert Pike Recreation Area, making it inaccessible by vehicle. The site sits alongside Long Creek in Ouachita National Forest, with cleared ground for tent camping and trees available for hammock use. No facilities exist here. Water can be collected and filtered from the creek, and a fishing hole roughly 100 feet upstream has produced trout and sunfish. Insects run heavy in spring and summer, so treated clothing is worth packing before you head in.
