Allan Point Cabin

Fishing enthusiasts will find Allan Point Cabin accessible only by boat or float plane, creating a secluded retreat just miles from town. This Forest Service rental sits on inside waters where conditions typically remain calm, making it well-suited for crabbing and fishing excursions. The cabin provides spacious accommodations but requires campers to bring all gear, including diesel fuel for heating.

Located within forested terrain near a creek, the site prohibits pets and costs $65 per night with reservations available. Campers exploring the broader region can find campgrounds around Sitka for additional options. The remote access and self-sufficient requirements make this cabin best suited for experienced campers seeking solitude and fishing opportunities.

Wonderful getaway!

This is a very secluded cabin, accessible by boat or float plane and only a few miles from Sitka, AK. Located on the inside waters so it typically is very calm. There is really great crabbing and fishing near by. The cabin itself is spacious, but bring all your own gear including diesel fuel for the for the heater. Great cabin to stay in for the true Alaskan experience
