The Signal Mountain Campground is centrally located inside Grand Teton National Park (GTNP) and provides a convenient basecamp for accessing all the park has to offer. This 80-site campground is located adjacent to Signal Mountain Lodge which provides many amenities you might need for your National Park adventures. The campground sits on the southeast shore of Jackson Lake and offers easy access to the lake waters and short walks to unparalleled views of the Teton Range. The area is frequented by various park wildlife, large and small as well as a variety of bird species. The Signal Mountain Campground is normally one of the first campgrounds to open and last to close in the park and can often have lingering snowpack during the opening weeks after heavy winters and possible early wintery weather at the end of the season. Due to the variability of weather in the Tetons, visitors should come prepared, especially during the months of May and October.

All backcountry camping requires a permit. Backcountry camping permits are issued on a first-come, first-served basis no more than one day before the start of your trip. Visit the backcountry reservations page to learn more about the reservation process and submit a reservation.

Requests for advance reservations are only accepted January to May. Reservations open for 2022 season on January 5 at 8:00am Mountain Time. All reservations are processed through recreation.gov in real-time. To facilitate your reservation experience, please establish an account on recreation.gov prior to the advance reservation season.

A non-refundable service fee of $45 will be charged for each reservation (fee is per trip, not per person). One-third of the sites are reserved in advance, leaving two-thirds available for walk-in permits. Walk-in permits will be issued a $35 fee per trip.

Inside the tent there is a comfortable king size bed, a mini couch that turns into a pullout sleeping mat that can fit two small children. There are also two sleeping mats that can be used but are short in length so fit a child best. The table seats 4 to play games or work at. Outside is a fire pit and picnic table to enjoy meals outdoors. A hammock is in the trees nearby to lay back and relax. Private porta potty located near the tent.



Teton View Tent

Your private RV parking spot is backed up to Trail Creek, with a bounty of berry bushes and willows that provide a cozy campsite. Less than a mile from downtown Victor, this location is convenient for all activities in the Tetons.

Grand Teton National Park is a 25 mile drive. It is around 100 miles to two different entrances to Yellowstone National Park, making it possible to do a long day trip loop. There is plenty of mountain biking, hiking, and rivers to explore. Grand Targhee and Teton Village are each about 20 miles and both have lots of fun summer activities. Jackson Hole is 25 miles away.

Grand Teton RV Getaway

This small campground is a few hundred yards from the east shore of Jenny Lake. The campground straddles a glacial moraine covered with an open forest of lodgepole pine, subalpine fir and Douglas fir. Across the lake, Teewinot Mountain, Cascade Canyon and Mount St. John dominate the landscape. No trailers, campers, or generators are allowed. Vehicles cannot be over 8 feet high or 14 feet long. Maximum per site is two tents, one vehicle, and six guests for up to 7 nights. ADA Access: The Jenny Lake Campground has two loops with 49 individual campsites and 10 hiker and bicycler sites. Three campsites are ADA compliant. Tent camping only – vehicles over eight feel high, trailers, cab-over campers, and raised pop-tops on vans are prohibited. Payphone is available at the campground kiosk. Routes to the amphitheater are not wheelchair accessible. The trail is uneven gravel and rocks with vegetation encroaching on the path. A campground host is onsite.

Jenny Lake Campground

Tucked into a canyon on 25 pristine acres, we are the perfect destination to find solitude in an area that can often feel “touristy” during the prime travel seasons. Our property features mountain views, landscaped green space, and creek frontage. In the summer we offer a variety of lawn games, grills for use, hiking out the front door, and horseback trail rides through Bridger-Teton National Forrest and Jedidiah Wilderness. Visit Artist’s Point and hike the 300 feet down to the lower falls to feel the rush of the Yellowstone River. 


For a more touristy experience, snag a site in the Madison Campground. Being one of the largest in the park and less than 20 miles from the famous geyser Old Faithful, this area is a go-to for first time visitors. Sitting at an elevation just below 7,000 feet, the crisp mountain air will refresh. This area gets a lot of traffic, so pack in your patience and remember that the parks are for everyone to enjoy. 


Camping in Wyoming also gives the chance to get off the grid. Grand Teton National Park is directly to the south of Yellowstone and allows for some easy-access backpacking. When done right, you can avoid the droves of humanity that flock to the Greater Yellowstone region. 


For an easy trek into the backcountry, get a scenic spot along Leigh Lake or String Lake. These camping sites are often booked months in advance, so get them quick! A hidden gem tucked in the shadow of Mount Moran is Bearpaw Lake and is also relatively accessible from the same trail. Remember your bear spray and enjoy some genuine Wyoming camping!

Facilities This newly-renovated campground contains several campsites, each equipped with a picnic table, campfire ring, grill and food storage locker. Two equestrian sites are available for those camping with horses. Vault toilets, drinking water and trash collection are provided but there is no electricity. Some first come, first served sites may also be available. Firewood is available for purchase from the host. Roads and parking spurs are gravel. Natural Features The campground is situated along Teton Creek, with partial views of the nearby Teton Range. A dense forest of pine, spruce and fir covers half of the campground, providing nice shade. The other half of the campground is more open, with aspens and pines dotting the summer wildflower-filled meadows. A variety of wildlife makes its home in the area, including moose and deer. Nearby Attractions Popular activities in the area include the Teton Valley Summer Festival over the Fourth of July in Driggs, complete with a hot air balloon festival, parade, rodeo, bike races and antique and craft booths. Grand Targhee Resort is nearby and hosts outstanding annual music festivals: Targhee Fest is in mid-July; Targhee Bluegrass Festival is in mid-August. The resort also offers lift-served hiking and mountain biking, scenic lift rides, guided horseback riding, a climbing wall and an 18-hole disc golf course. Reunion Flat Campground is located in beautiful Teton Canyon in the Caribou-Targhee National Forest. Hiking, backpacking and horseback riding are popular activities in this scenic region.

The towering Teton Range and Jedediah Smith Wilderness are adjacent to the canyon, offering excellent hiking, backpacking and horseback riding opportunities.   
  
Trails begin just up-canyon at Teton Canyon Campground. Teton Creek offers fishing for brook and Yellowstone cutthroat trout.

## Facilities

This fully accessible campground offers three group sites with large picnic tables, campfire rings, grills and ample parking. Site A can accommodate up to 150 guests; Sites B and C can accommodate 65 people each. Four additional single family sites are also available.  
  
Vault toilets, drinking water and trash collection are provided, but there is no electricity. Roads and parking spurs are gravel.

## Natural Features

The campground is situated along Teton Creek in a forest of pine, spruce, fir and the occasional aspen, which provides partial shade. Vibrant summer wildflowers dot the landscape. A variety of wildlife makes its home in the area, including moose and deer.

Popular activities in the area include the Teton Valley Summer Festival over the Fourth of July in Driggs, Idaho, complete with a hot air balloon festival, parade, rodeo, bike races and antique and craft booths.  
  
Grand Targhee Resort is nearby and hosts annual music festivals, including Targhee Fest in mid-July and Targhee Bluegrass Festival in mid-August. The resort also offers lift-served hiking and mountain biking, scenic lift rides, guided horseback riding, a climbing wall and an 18-hole disc golf course.   
  
Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks are both within a few hour's drive.

Reunion Flat

[Thaidaho Victor](<thaidaho.com/bnb>) is one single 'RESERVATION ONLY' car/truck/bicycle/motorcycle glamping spot for non-smokers. No RV's or trailers are allowed, and we have no dump or hookup. This glamping spot is intended for one or two people who are car/truck/moto/bicycle camping.

There is a small dry sleeping cabin with one full size bed (for one or two people), a dorm-sized refrigerator, coffee maker, hair dryer, fan and space heater. Drinking water and towels are provided. There is an outdoor hot-water shower & flush toilet, a fire pit, picnic table, propane grill and parking for one vehicle or two bikes. There is one separate bicycle camping spot, so at times the outdoor shower & toilet will be shared with one or two other people. The site is pretty, private and has unobstructed views of the Big Hole Mountains, yet is located next to the Town of Victor with it's many restaurants, bars and stores.

Teton Valley is just 25 miles from Jackson Hole, Wyoming and Grand Teton National Park, and just 1.5 hours from Yellowstone National Park. Just 12 miles away is Grand Targhee Resort, with their biking, trails and music festivals in the summer.

Trapper Lake is located in Grand Teton National Park, in the U. S. state of Wyoming. Trapper Lake is only 0.10 mi (0.16 km) north of Bearpaw Lake and at the eastern base of Mount Moran. The lake can be accessed on foot by the Leigh Lake Trail which is an easy 4.6-mile (7.4 km) hike on level terrain.
