Blowout Campground is located in the Caribou-Targhee National Forest near Wyoming. The terrain consists of forested areas with nearby mountains. Temperatures range from lows of 20°F in winter to highs of 80°F in summer. Nearby attractions include the scenic Palisades Reservoir and the Snake River, offering opportunities for fishing and boating.

Blowout Campground is located on Highwy 26, approxiametly 58 miles southeast of Idaho Falls, ID.\_Aspens and tall lodgepole pines partially shade the campground. Blowout Boat Ramp is located down the hill from the campgroud and is on the Palisades Reservoir. Fishing for Yellowstone Cutthroat Trout, Brown Trout, Lake Trout and Kokanee, motorized and non-motorized boating activities are all popular\_\_on the reservoir. The Blowout Campground has 11 single units and 4 double units. Full time campground host located on site. The Best Camping Near Alpine, Wyoming

Rt 26 seems to be a big trucking route, could hear engine braking all night. Sites seemed close together as well. On the bright side, sites on the west cliff get a wicked nice sunset! Was the only one there aside from a few boaters at the launch, and no fee late October!

Blowout Campground seems to be the place for fisher people. The road to the boat launch goes right through the campground , not great. Unless that’s what your there for.
Small campground right off the road, so you can hear the traffic noise. Older campground with sites in the trees. Excellent views and the lake looked awesome.
