    Fire the gateman

What’s the point of having agateman ?

    He was rude .

But seriously what’s the point of having a guy who does Not even groom trails tell me I’m 15 min late to leave at 7pm

Which is still plenty of light for another hour of riding .

Equestrian peoples time frames are not based off of public park time frames . If I’m running behind so be it I don’t need a ticket from a county park to tell me .

15$ is way to steep for a Washington park in the middle of nowhere

    Beach, Camp, Play

This Spot i have been going to for 35 + years its operated by the county and a fee of 25 dollars is charged for basic dirt camping spot, more for RV and cabins. Sandy beach, amazing hikes through ancient ceder Forrest. For an urban campground I think this is as good as it gets.

    Nice campground

Nice campground. Level spaces for the most part. Ample space between sites, pull they'd, picnic tables and fire pits. Large pine trees, so plenty of shade and pine cones, clean restrooms. Would stay again. Price is $40/night with electric and water, dump station.

    Liberty Lake Tidy and quiet

This is a Spokane County campground about a mile from the Idaho border. It’s located down a country road so use the website to find it. It had two ex-marine hosts when we visited so the potential for yahoos is low. In fact it was neat, tidy, and quiet when we visited for one night. It is a popular place for locals and fills quickly. Warm showers are included. Beware that tent sites 2&3 accommodate one compact vehicle only, this is not clear from website which will accept payment for 2. The other would have to park elsewhere as directed. The park is pleasant with lake access and hiking trails

Gem of a Campground near Liberty Lake

We pulled in to the public park and the attendant told us to check with the camp host even tho the sign said full.

We had our choice of two tent sites for our conversion van. We selected a shaded spot . They had ice for sale and take credit cards.

Great spot for a quiet night

Lovely little Campground. Access to a crowd beach but it was still nice to get in the water at 95! Nice paths. Sites are a bit tight and there is no dump station

    Liberty Lake Regional Park

    Amazing regional park

For a regional park, my expectations were very much exceeded. My group was 2 people/3 dogs with a Class A Winnebago & an Outback. We spent several weeks between May-July. The camp hosts were amazingly nice and kept everything peaceful and clean. Staff are also readily available throughout the park. Not huge, but more spacious than many other sites, we had plenty of space to set a good area outside the rig without feeling like we were intruding on anyone else nearby. There's a nice bathroom/free shower and camp sink. Heading north from the campground, you can explore the canyon and hike up to a cedar grove. South of the campground is the day use area (sprawling and lovely lawn) with more bathrooms and a playground and tons of picnic tables with BBQ. The swim area is daily small, but enough. The dock at the swim area was great in the early part of the season - even caught a nice bass. As more people came in the summer, we used the dock to launch a raft to get around the lake for fishing.

    The only downsides:

    1. the spaces are not level at all! We had the front wheels about 7in off the ground and we still weren't level. Our fridge wouldn't work bc of this which was a bummer but not killer.
    2. No site sewage. There's a communal dump station, but it's up a hill and not in the same loop as the campground. Plan to dump as you arrive and then leave. Try not to need to use it during your stay.

    Clean but close together

The campgrounds are very clean and well maintained. The RV sites are very close together. The road in is not for the faint if you  have a trailer or RV over 25 feet. It’s windy and a one lane coming into the park. The lake access is quite a long way away from the campground. Great trail access right out of the campground.

    Convenient Camping

Liberty Lake is great for a quick get away if you have a camping itch that you need to scratch. It is easy to get to and has everything you need. It can be crowded and the sites aren’t secluded but is beautiful in the summer and close to the lake.

The bathrooms are always clean, there’s showers, and firewood for purchase. The hiking and biking trails are solid and the waterfall is amazing.

All in all, you can’t go wrong with Liberty Lake.

    A Hikers site

This is a nice site that is know for its hiking trail. It is also close to play structure and small beach. It has paved/gravel roads. The road in was kinda sketchy if you are pulling a large RV. It is surrounded by a heavily wooded area that is very beautiful and well kept up.

    Small County Park

This is a relatively small county park that is neat and clean, and is a nice spot to pitch a tent or have a picnic. There is great hiking nearby, and a beach that is nice for young children.

    Close to town getaway

Water is a bit of walk from camping area, but overall thai campground is great. Hiking, fishing, swimming. Is a great place to rent a cabin with children and enjoy nature close to city.

    Nice but crowded

I stayed in the tent part of the campground, and the sites (especially the first few) are awfully close. This is a great campground for camping with friends but I don't recommend it for a quiet getaway.

Regardless, I still enjoyed my time with my dog and the tent sites were nicely shaded so I wasn't baking in them. There's many hiking trails nearby to explore and you're walking distance from the lake.

    Quaint & Enjoyable!

Tucked back behind a neighborhood of fairly luxurious homes and sitting near the lake, these sites offer a nice spot to catch a breath while traveling. We stayed at tent site 10 and it has been perfect. $27/night for tent and $38/night for RVs. Pet friendly, great host, facilities, and plenty of space.

    Nice Little Campground

Great little campground on a meadow behind Liberty Lake. Bathrooms, showers, and a sink for dishes available. Sites aren't super private, but have adequate space. Felt very safe for solo camping. Great halfway between Rainier and Glacier.

    Terrific sunsets!

Nice level car camping spot. Rolled in and took one of the 2 upper road RV sites away from the main campsites below and was treated with a great sweeping view of the lake with a stellar sunset. Good fire ring with grate. Open bbq grill. Picnic table has seen better days. Didn't use the showers. Clean bathrooms. Would stay there again.

    Liberty Lake Regional Park

    Quiet park close to Spokane

We spent 3 weeks at Liberty Lake Regional Park while visiting our son and grandkids in Spokane. The road in is a little narrow, but once in, it’s a great little campground. Most of the sites are fairly level. We stayed at 2 different sites over 3 weeks, and both were level. They are close together! They provide a fire pit if you want one. Picnic table, water and electric. The dump station is quite a drive, back out, up the hill. There is a clean shower/bathroom building and a beach within walking distance of the campground. While we were there the campground hosts did a fantastic job of keeping everything clean and tidy. Several hiking trails, including an equestrian trail, waterfall, fishing and lots of wildlife. There were deer in the campground every day, we saw moose, owls, pilated woodpecker, and hawks. We were there over July 4th weekend and they had a fireworks display on the beach.

    Liberty Lake Regional Park

Still a nice little camping spot JR in in

This is my second visit to Liberty Lake Regional Park. After 4 years, it’s still a great park, if a little older. There are about 18 RV sites, all with water and 30amp electric, and 2 full hookup sites up on the hill. There are also about 15 tent sites, and a group site. The road coming into the campground is steep and narrow with a sharp turn at the end so larger RVs would have a problem. Also, the sites are not level. Some RV owners had to Jack up the front to get level. The bathrooms are clean, if a little worn. We came to visit grandkids, and they enjoyed Liberty Lake as well. There is lots of shade, a swimming beach, playground and picnic area. There are also several hiking trails that start at the campground. UN

    Liberty Lake Regional Park

    Nice quiet hidden campground

This is our 3rd visit to Liberty Lake Regional Park. It’s a small campground on Liberty Lake just east of Spokane WA. It’s a little hard to get to, and not suitable for large Class A motorhomes!

There are 16 regular RV sites with water & electric, and they have added 3 sites on top of the hill with full hookups. Also 12 tent sites. Close to Spokane. Hiking and horse trails.

    Many trees near the lake

The campground has lots of grass and trees. Deer graze throughout the campground. 17 RV sites makes it feel very homey. The camp host was very nice. It is a bit of a walk from the camp to the lake and the access road is narrow and many curves. Would definitely recommend this park and would absolutely stay here again.

Bowl and Pitcher Campground — Riverside State Park

    Busy and well maintained

Did not have reservations but got lucky with an open site. Make a reservation ahead of time if you want to be guaranteed a site. The campground is full and a bit loud. But very clean and well maintained, including the bathrooms. Each site has a fire ring and picnic table. Multiple water spigots close by. Lots of walking trails nearby and a cool suspension bridge over the river. Other than the lack of solitude, absolutely no complaints.

Bowl and Pitcher Campground — Riverside State Park

    Busy campground, ,close to town

This campground is close to town and close to some wonderful hiking areas if you’re looking to explore Riverside State Park or downtown Spokane. It also has nice bathrooms with showers and flush toilets. We stayed in one of the standard sites, site 18 and it was right on the road into the park so there was a lot of traffic going by all day. The sites in the upper area are very close together without any tree cover so there’s no privacy from your neighboring campers or those driving by to visit the park. We checked out the lower sites that are along the river and have hookups and they looked a lot nicer, more spacious and with a better view (but the camp host said they’re $45 a night and they book up fast).
