Description
Enjoy the peace and serenity of a stay in our historic renovated blacksmith's shed, located on our farm. In years past we raised cattle, but now we just grow hay and have some chickens. This is a "farm stay" experience in that you may see our chickens. Our renovated blacksmith's shed has been converted into a cozy space for two with a queen size bed, small kitchen and sitting area. Heat is provided by a small cast iron stove with gas logs to keep you comfortable. There is a private detached bathroom in a small cabin next to the blacksmith's shed that has a clawfoot tub with a shower, toilet and sink.
Our farm is 170 acres that you are welcome to hike around on. Sit outside your cabin overlooking the hay fields in the evening and you will be treated to loads of deer and possibly a momma bear with cubs strolling across. We have Adirondack chairs and a firepit next to the blacksmith's shed for your use. Please bring your own firewood.
