Reservations for Kualoa Regional Park camping must be made through the City and County of Honolulu's Department of Parks and Recreation camping permit system. Camping is only allowed with a valid permit, and it's recommended to reserve well in advance, especially for weekend dates, as this is a popular destination. The regional park is operated by the City and County of Honolulu, while Kualoa Ranch is privately owned. If you want to camp in the area, Kualoa Regional Park is your option, not Kualoa Ranch.
