Sleepy Hollow was a nice place to recharge. The staff were nice and they have a laundromat. We had full hookups and you can easily walk to town for dinner. The famous Wall Drug is nearby, too.

It’s a nice place heading east or west to land for the night. We’ve stayed at sleepy hollow before and find it and the proximity to wall drug a fun landing stop for the night on our trek across SD. Dinner, ice cream and splash pad fun at wall drug is the perfect end to a day on the road for our family.
The campground is fine. FHU with cable. $65 might be steep but,....
You can walk to Wall Drug Store if you are so inclined.
Plenty of space to walk the dogs.
8 miles from Badlands National Park entrance.
COMPLAINT - not the parks fault but....they were/are doing construction on the railroad crossing that prevents you from following your navigation guide. The detour signs are terrible or non-existent. We drove down a street with cars parked on both sides, and found ourselves at road closed even thought we could see the park. We had to call and ask how to get into the park.
I want to say this isn’t the parks fault, but the absolute infestation of mosquitos at our site was unbearable. We couldnt be outside at all without being brutally attacked. We did have bug spray on! Opening the door for more than a second and they’d flood the RV. We spent most of our time killing them inside. Pro though is how close it is to wall drug! Had a fun day in town and really enjoyed the atmosphere. We also did not get attacked by mosquitos in town at all after leaving the campground. Spraying needs to be done.
Awesome pull through full hookup sites. Small shop in office. Laundry and showers. Clean bathrooms. Friendly staff. Two minute walk to Wall Drug which also hosts a grocery store, gas station and Ace Hardware. Fenced in dog park was a major bonus.
Walking distance to Wall Drug, spots are fairly tight and not all sites have sewer connections. Wifi is good and they still have cable hook ups
Quiet park just a block or two from Wall Drug. Has everything you need including laundry and showers, pool is closed.
Easy in and out, great for folks like us who don’t bring a car. Clean, but not much shade.
Great park clean and quiet with full hookups. Sites are clean however a little narrow. All sites are pull through. Clean showers and restroom full laundry facilities. Office has camping needs and gifts.
The campground is located directly next to a train track that had traffic on it during our stay. It was only one train in the late afternoon which was fine for us. The campground is a standard commercial campground with simple amenities. Its best selling point is how close it is to the city of Wall and The Badlands. If you have any trouble with your rig or gear (like we did) the Ace Hardware Store is incredibly helpful. However, if you are comfortable with boondocking you are less than 15 minutes from the coolest place I have ever camped, "The Wall Dispersed Camping".
Close to Badlands National Park. Just 8 miles to beautiful sunsets. Walking distance to town, Wall Drug, and restaurants. Campground is as others have stated; a bit tired. Pool is still closed. Site is level.
We stayed two nights to visit the Badland National Park. Right by the Wall Drug so it doesn't feel like camping too much, but the bathroom/shower was indeed super clean like everyone says!
This campground fit the bill for an overnight stay and was close to Wall Drug. The RV site was level on a rock pad with FHU. There was some shade with a picnic table. We did sleep well as it was quiet. We paid $40.33 for one night which we thought was a bit high for off season.
Very easy, courteous and straight forward. Pool is not open and won’t be. But they have an agreement with the Wall Community center pool for campground guests to use for free. We headed over to use that pool and found a great splash pad at wall drug instead. The kids loved it.
Pretty basic but clean bathrooms. We were just stopping over for the night so it was perfect for us. I don't think I'd want to stay there for a week or anything.
The wifi is terrible and the entire campground feels dated. That said it is immaculately maintained. The bathrooms though clearly multiple decades old are clean and buttoned up. There is pride of ownership here. The help was friendly and it was quiet.
Also a block and a half from Wall Drug which is cool.
We stayed here for a couple days. The campground is good for a stop over. There is a dog run area which is rather large. We enjoyed this with our dogs. WiFi was great. Only complaint was the dog poop garage was so full it didn’t look like it had been cleaned out in 6 months.Probably would only suggest staying here for Couple of days since there isn’t much too do in the town.
Easy access, decent sized campsites in close proximity to Wall Drug. No frills
We stopped at Sleepy Hollow after a days worth of driving & visiting Wall. Spots are pretty close together but does have green space between. Nice small playground & swing. Dog park area.
All pull through sites. Not a lot of room between sites, but adequate. Restrooms are a bit far from the sites but very clean and tiled. The entrance is about a block from Wall Drug, conveniently located.
Friendly staff at check in. We were tent camping and were given a weird site at the back of the tent area when nobody was there. Sorta weird but we rolled with it. They have a camp store, pool, laundry, showers and clean restrooms. The pool was nice but got crowed because it was smaller.
The best draw to this campground is that it’s a 2 block walk to the famous wall drug store. So there is tons to do. The badlands national park is a must see and very close as well.
I would recommend this campground again for its location and friendly staff.
A place to spend a night. Level & did not have to unhook. Full hookups & cable. We did not use the cable
My three girls and I were so excited to get to our campsite after an eight hour drive. When we got to the office, we had to wait to check in, because the keeper was on the phone. It gave us a chance to check out the pool. Nasty, green and tiny is how my kids described it to me. We finally were able to talk with the check in lady and she said “ well, I guess I’d call the pool out of order, probably for the summer!” I then got the map of the campground and bought a small bundle of wood...$8.00 a bundle...! We found our site, ten feet from a swamp on uneven, unmowed grass. The fire pit, was tiny, with a half of a grate for cooking. We actually, set up our tent, under an out building, since that was the only ground that was level and not swarming with mosquitos. We are making out the best we can, but will NEVER be back to tent, or camp at this campgrounds again!
Very close to Wall Drug attraction, quiet camp ground accommodating RVs and tents. We camped in a tent, and although it rained enjoyed our stay. Staff is nice, facilities are clean. Would recommend!
On an “I’m gunna lose my mind if I don’t get outta here” whim, I picked this campground as it seemed to be right in the middle of everything. In one day we checked out Mt Rushmore, drove back to the camp site to have lunch then went to the badlands and before leaving the next morn, we tootled around wall drug. We lucked out getting a tent site with the shelter as I was unprepared for the rain and wind. We had a nice stay at a nice little clean campground and the dog enjoyed running around the fenced pet area after spending so much time in the car.
You can walk faster than you can from Wall Drug parking areas. Friendly service, great restrooms, and a small pool.
Very accommodating, had a late night arrival and our RV site was ready too go. Stood overnight just to go to Badlands and Wall.
free showers, on site laundry for $1.25 wash and same to dry, swimming pool, little kids playground. we stayed in a cabin, primitive, but super clean and comfy. nice beds, you provide linens.
We found this campground late one night coming out of the Badlands. It was a nice campground with a clean bathhouse. It is surprisingly quiet to be so close to the main roads through Wall. Be sure to stop by Wall Drug. It is a tourist trap but it is pretty neat to walk through all of the shops. It also has some nice places to eat.
