Walmart — Camp Hill Supercenter

Located a solid 20 minutes west of Harrisburg in the rural town of Camp Hill, you’d likely be accessing Highway 76 west to access this particular Walmart, located just due west of the Susquehanna River, where this medium-sized retailer’s paved parking pad might make for a decent lay-up for a few hours or even overnight. That is, if you can actually find some vacant space to claim – as the front end of this parking oasis is quite meager, wherein the best spots are those conveniently located on the southeastern flank of the store.

You’ll note that the parking lot is, in fact, quite level, although the pavement itself has seen better days and the direction markings on the ground have long been faded. There’s good lighting though and as you are in the western suburbs of Harrisburg here, so you’ll feel quite safe & sound and given the distance from that busy highway that brought you in here to this location, combined with the residential nature of the surrounding environ, you’ll likely experience some pretty easy, light sleeping for the night.

As for amenities, this particular Walmart is located near quite a bit of retail options, like Trulieve Camp Hill Dispensary, Ace Hardware, Dollar Tree and Discount Tire and the swell of retail options over at Capital City Mall, like Macy’s, Dick’s Sporting Goods surrounded by national chain restaurants like Texas Roadhouse, Outback Steakhouse, Chick-fil-A and Bonefish Grill. All in all, while this Walmart is just medium-sized, given the location and proximity to a smattering of creature comforts, this location packs quite the punch.
