Blue Jay Campsite operated as a private campground with both drive-in and boat-in access near Tupper Lake. The facility provided electric hookups for RVs along with standard amenities including restrooms, showers with hot water, and drinking water. Campers could access multiple boat launches and swimming areas along the lakefront.
Sites featured level terrain with adequate spacing between neighbors. The campground's location provided convenient access to town services and hiking opportunities in the surrounding area. PERMANENTLY CLOSED Blue Jay Campsite is located directly on the shores of pristine Big Tupper Lake in the heart of the Adirondack Mountains. Your hosts, the Scotti family, who have operated the campsite since 1946, offer you the opportunity to enjoy the beauty, serenity and peacefulness of the Adirondack mountains while having all the amenities of a modern campsite.
The campground is open Memorial Day through the last weekend in September.
Blue Jay Campsite, LLC has a laundromat, beach/playground, marina, hot showers/sinks and flush toilets.
Each campsite has electricity and water hook-ups as well as a fire area and picnic table. Some sites have full hook-ups or a dumping station is available for your convenience.
