Great state park

Only stayed 1 night with me and a buddy. The campsite was great. Very flat with a picnic table and a fire pit stove. Very convenient to cook on. The bathroom was right next to us. Very clean with a sink outside and shower inside. Overall very great campsite. Would definitely go there more often.

Quiet and relaxing

Very well kept and quiet grounds. The lot I was in was not wooded but still quiet. Check in was quick and friendly. All other guests were friendly as well. I’ll be back for sure.

Great place to Relax

Stayed at site 56 with my tent in an RV site. The site was flat. Had running water, grill and fire pit. There was plenty of space. This site was very secluded. Comfort station was a nice casual walk.

Great place to relax

I stayed at site 230 in The month of August. Up on a hill with partial sun. There was a fire pit and grill. Every site has its own running water.Large space secluded. It rained a few times but was not an issue at this site. Bathrooms were clean and there are free hot showers. Flush toilets.

Roomy lots, clean facilities

The lot size was quiet large and the lavatories/baths were very clean.

We were in the camper area on a corner lot #48. They say full hookups but only water and electricity (no grey or black water sewer on lots).

Park is below an airport route so there were lots of planes flying over.

Great spot with great views

I was impressed. I prefer primitive camping and this campground is made for that. There are a few RV and trailer accessible sites, but I go primitive. The water front views are fantastic.

Very friendly place

Everyone is so friendly, they have bathhouses with toilets, showers and laundry facilities. An in-ground pool with a great shallow area for the littles. A pond to fish or kayak or canoe or boat. A pavilion where they hold events or host dj’s etc. on the weekend. And dumpsters on site. Electric (30…

First campground

Arrived on Thursday Dave’s helped me back in. Unhitch which was a disaster as my battery died. He went and retrieved his motorcycle battery and we finally unhitched the vehicles. He showed me how to set up and generally helped me get things going with a cheerful countenance.

Loved by my family

This camp ground was great for my family and doggie. Everyone we encountered was friendly. We did a camp site with not power. My son and I loved watching the baby field mice 0lay in the marsh land. The con of this camp ground was the misquote, we went through 3 deep woods cans in just the first…

Cute campground, wooded sites are limited.

This campground overall is very nice. The camp store has most everything you could need, and the campground is gated so you have to make sure you keep your key card with you whenever leaving in order to get back in. Most of the sites are out in the open though, or very close together. Not so bad if…

Very Loud

This is okay for what it is. The staff all seemed very friendly everytime we had interacted with them. The store was convenient. The bathroom was clean, but pretty cramped. Definitely aimed towards more of the RV/camper fields. It seems like the majority of the sites are seasonals. The tent…

Family campground

Pros- very clean, bathrooms kept up with regularly. Staff is very nice. They offer boat rentals, canoes, paddle boats and kayaks. Store on site and they do activities during the week. Definitely more kids friendly I think. They do have a pool, park, dog park, lake and food trucks visits at times.…

Rainy and wet

Started with really expensive sites, and we had 4 of them next to one another. Rained the whole time we were there. Wouldnt even consider a discount, nothing. Put up tarps, then was told we can't have them up. As far as camping. Nope. Now the Pow-wow on the other hand. Have yet to miss one

Beautiful easy access to nice hiking trails/ponds

Wonderful birthday weekend early in the season with quiet campground and beautiful days of hiking.  Staff were very helpful and friendly at check in.  There are many beautiful campsites but would generally look closely at surrounding high traffic areas like bathroom/showers which were in great…
