Perfectly Located Whitefish BaseCamp

Hello and welcome to your PERFECTLY LOCATED WHITEFISH BASE CAMP! If you are looking for a perfectly located camping oasis, if you want to experience all there is to offer in the area (Whitefish, Montana) then this is your place to base from! We are a heavily wooded lot conveniently located 10 minutes south of downtown Whitefish and 12 minutes north of the hub of Kalispell. Get away from the crowds and traffic at Glacier National Park-we're only a 25-minute drive! We're 12 minutes to Whitefish Lake Beach; 25 minutes to Flathead Lake (the largest freshwater lake west of the Mississippi) and 15 minutes to Les Mason State Park and Beach (where dogs are allowed!).

-If you are looking for SHADE for your site and your camper, you have found the place! You will have a heavily shaded space with a large yard: picnic table with tablecloth, chairs, umbrella; gas grill; hammock; firepit with chairs.

- Save your gray water tank with our heated outdoor shower (please see photos and reviews).

-The booking covers 4 guests. An additional 4 guests may be added on to the booking.

-On-site DOGGIE DAY CARE is available. Overnight boarding, too. See details for advance booking under "Extras." *

-There are two driveways, one in the front of the property where you will enter and one in the back where we enter from a different street. This private residence is shared with the owner's residence and a guest cabin.

-Whitefish Mountain Resort is a 20-minute drive up the mountain. A ski resort in the winter, there is a lot to do in the summer: zip lines, mountain biking, slides for the kids and more - SkiWhitefish.com.

-If you want to go to Canada we are only 60 miles from the border.

-Charming downtown Whitefish has music in the park, great restaurants and shops, a golf course and - a river that runs next to it. We have beautiful dog-friendly hiking trails only 4 blocks from the property, suitable for mountain bikers, and children.

-SUMMER ACTIVITIES: Festivals / Fishing / Golf / Hiking / Kayaking / Mountain Biking / Rafting / Rock Climbing / Swimming / Boating / Scenic Drives

-WINTER ACTIVITIES: Downhill and X-Country Skiing / Snowboarding /Ice Skating / Sledding / Snowmobiling / Snowshoeing / Shopping / Dining

-PLEASE NOTE, later in Fall and Winter, running water and outdoor shower are not available if freezing occurs.

-We are not far from Highway 93 so you can hear the traffic. If you are looking for complete quiet, this may not be the best choice for you. If you want to be centrally located with many options, this is your place.

-PLEASE NOTE, you must have a self-contained camper with a working toilet and water tank. No camp toilets are allowed.

-Your children and your dogs are welcome here! Dogs MUST be leashed, aggressive dogs are not permitted.

-The guests who check in are the only guests permitted - no rotating guests.
