The Best Camping Near Joplin, Missouri

Clean. Safe. Great for an overnight on our way from Joplin to OK City. $30 for electricity and water. Easy check in and plenty of spots. Also, near the casino if you’re interested. Nothing fancy, but we didn’t need fancy. 

Great overnight resting place

Nice quiet easy to get to off interstate. Pull through spaces. Very clean and well kept. Stay for free if you are a casino card holder.  

Very enjoyable campground 

Great spot for an overnight stay. It is a parking lot behind a casino but backs up to a beautiful pasture with pond. Stay is free with a membership card from casino. Got card then went to gift shop to get space. Site had electric and water. Community sewer drop with washout. No wifi but cellular was good. No cable but pulled 32 channels from the antenna. No reservations, only first come. Gas station on property with easy in/out plus food and liquor. 

Overnight Stay

Rt on historical route 66 a cute little campground. It is a bit noisy due to Main highway is not that far away but not overwhelming.  Good water pressure and reliable electric.

Great overnight in and out  location 

Passport America stop, 17.50 per night.  Highway noice but didn't brother us at all.

Excellent stay

Pros: it's a free concrete parking lot with hookups. Clean, a little grass for pets. Did I mention the first night is free if you register at the Casino and get a players card. Then check in at the store/gas station. 

Con: No shuttle to the casino.
