Oraas County Park

With sites priced from $10-$27 per night, Oraas County Park operates as a county-managed campground in Clarkfield that accommodates both RVs and tent campers. Each site includes water and electric hookups, and the park accepts reservations for those who prefer to plan ahead.

The campground sits near a creek and provides walking trails that work well for exercising dogs. Jackie P. notes that "each site had plenty of space" and mentions the park's proximity to neighboring towns for supplies. The sites can handle big rigs, and campers report cell service availability throughout the property.

Reviews indicate the park tends to stay relatively uncrowded, with some visitors finding themselves as the only occupants during their stay. The location places it near the highway, which one camper noted during a brief stop. For those exploring the broader region, camping spots around Minneota provide additional options about 12 miles southwest.

Pets are welcome throughout the campground, and campfires are permitted at the sites. The park offers both drive-in and walk-in access, making it accessible for different camping styles and group sizes.

Fee Info

Camping is available with 110 volt electrical hookups and is $27/night for campers and $10/night for tents.

The picnic shelters at both parks can be reserved for group gatherings at a rate of $25 per event, plus damage deposit if applicable.

Reservation Info

All camping must be paid for in advance before campers will be allowed to park in a spot, and before a reservation will be accepted.

Many campers appreciated the quiet atmosphere and reliable hookups at sites. Highway proximity creates some noise, but most found it a peaceful retreat with good spacing between sites.

Hidden gem

Nice park. Water and electric hookups at each site. Each site had plenty of space. We happened to be the only one in the park all weekend, which was awesome. Close to neighboring towns for any essentials that were missed. Hidden gem!
