Isle Royale National Park encompasses Malone Bay Campground, a National Park Service site that prohibits pets entirely. The campground sits on Michigan's remote island wilderness, accessible only by boat or seaplane from the mainland. No established amenities or facilities are documented at this location.
Backcountry camping regulations apply throughout the island. Other options within the park include Hatchet Lake Campground and Wood Lake Campground, both requiring similar wilderness access methods. Campers must plan for complete self-sufficiency during their stay.
