Located in Jasper, TN. This is a place to visit! Fair rates ($35/night) and great views. Friendly staff. Upkeep on bathrooms and showers. Very pleased with my stay here! The lot was a tight squeeze so if you’re not an experienced driver, you may want to request a different lot selection.
Well I called to reserve for the night. I was given a discounted $40 overnight rate. It seemed fair, but the conditions were underwhelming. I had to use the shower and bathrooms and frankly… it was a hole in the wall. The shower was literally just a hole in the wall! Had to walk carefully in the bathroom to avoid getting in contact with the disgusting conditions.
This was my 2nd visit to the park. At 50 bucks for a tent site, it isn't cheap, but the sites can accommodate up to 3 tents. The scenery is very nice and the staff are helpful, would go again.
The campground was beautiful and the sites were somewhat spread out or had vegetation separating the sites. The guys in the shop were great to work with and very friendly
Exactly as described. The host was great and helpful. Porta potties available, but no drinkable water. Dusty. Bugs weren’t terrible at all. Fishing in the canals is excellent.
Very open quiet spot. Nice and helpful camp host. Beautiful scenery.
Enjoyed our brief stay at Periwinkle. Quiet, good bathrooms, a short hike to the beach and great restaurants and bars and ice cream within walking. Also serves as an exotic bird refuge. So much to like. Great price point.
One of the best RV parks I have stayed at so far. It's proximity to the beaches and location on the water makes it a great place to stay. Location has all the amenities you need to make for a fun time
Very easy to use.
Doing a 2 day weekend camping trip. The campground itself is pretty well maintained with decent albeit rather run down facilities. There are shaded spots available for tents and expansive views of the everglades. Temperatures have been perfect. It is expensive, at $45./night for a tent spot they are really pushing the envelope price wise but it's a worthwhile visit.
Super close to a nice beach. Birds were so cool. Everything worked. Park was clean. Good size lots.
It takes an hour to drive to the closest beach, Almost everything inside the campground closes 8pm including the pool and the office and the laundry. The spaces are very tight and there is some pretty strict rules that I was unfamiliar with, Including I couldn't put my little doggy fence up in the grass next to my camper. The man that came around in the golf cart with the rule book was a very horrible person. Aside from that everybody else was very nice and the campground is actually well kept and it is nice.
This small no frills campground was great for the price. Beautiful area all around but nothing fancy. Its a short drive to downtown Naples and Naples Pier/Beach which I highly recommend. Great friendly staff and campers.
FYI. I’ve run into this several times on the Dyrt
Campground had great amenities. Clean showers and bathrooms. Club house with ping pong. Very empty during this time of year. Bugs were at their peak. No complaints, easy contact less check in and check out!
This campsite is a bit of a hike to get to and we drove past it. The campground is very open and the sites don’t really have much privacy. Nice area for horses.
The campsite is beautiful and well maintained. Lots of landscape and birds to see. Good location. However, be mindful of your location. There is an area right next to the sewage treatment facility and it stinks bad when the wind is wrong. It was wrong most of my weekend.
One of the better maintained KOA campgrounds. Staff really cares and willing to do whatever it takes to help you have a great stay. There is even a hot tub! Grocery store nearby, which is really convenient. Good cell service and ok wifi. Have to drive to beach but so worth it! Super beaches and amazing water.
Good spot very clean with clean amenities. Wifi and cable access good too. Bring your bug spray. Lots of mosquitos.
Quiet & private, friendly staff. Bring insect repellant & enjoy the Everglades!
we had a paved site on the river we took the paddle boards over to the restaurant on the opposite side short walk over the bridge to town and the beach. Dogs allowed, shuffle board small pool.
Had 3 sites together. This park has many permanent residents so our sites backed up to small trailer homes. Didn't bother us much as we had pond and Avery in front of sites and enough trees for hammocks and shade. Birds are amazing. If you are around at feeding time, you can often see parrots riding around in a gold cart!
Have camped here twice this year. Bring your bike as beach is half mile away. This is a bird watcher paradise. Lots of parrots as well as native birds. Love all the squawking when they wake up in morning! Nice, family atmosphere. Note: no TMobile service in campground. Ice is available onsite. We will be back!
Nice easy app for camping. All info are included
With a newly purchased Catalina and a few days before memorial weekend we found this very nice Campground. Nice folks and staff.
Campground staff very nice campsites are great concrete slab with table. Some campsites are tricky to get into we have a 34 foot fifth wheel. Could use a little more shade
Just hit this equestrian campground for a single night and I had the place to myself.
There was a single cameraman from a local news affiliate shooting video of deer in the field at sunset.
And a group of ladies on horseback went for a sunset trail ride, but after dark it was all mine.
Super affordable, but it does require a little extra time to get there as there isn't a quick exit off the main highway.
There is a water spigot here, but water is not potable, so bring your own.
And keep your eyes peeled for a panther sighting!
