Loon Lake Equestrian Campground

Reservations are available at this drive-in equestrian campground in Eldorado National Forest, which runs a short season from late June through early October. RVs up to 40 feet are accommodated, and campfires and pets are both permitted. Nearby options include Loon Lake, roughly a mile to the west, for campers who don't need equestrian facilities. Book ahead, as the brief season and specialized amenities tend to limit availability.
