Description
Soup Springs Campground offers hikers and horsemen access to the central portion of the South Warner Wilderness. This campground is designed as a family camp but corrals for horses are available near the equestrian trailhead away from the campsites. Horses are not permitted in the campground. The two trailheads meet up a short distance from the campground.

From Alturas go south on US Hwy 395 approximately 18 miles to Likely, CA. Turn east on County Road 64/Jess Valley Rd and go 3.2 miles to Blue Lake Road and West Warner Road. Turn left (northeast) on West Warner Road for 5 miles to Forest Road 40N24. Turn right on 40N24 and go 4.5 miles to the campground.
