Welcome to Texhoma Park Campground, a convenient spot near Dumas, TX, perfect for a quick overnight stay. This place is a no-frills, straightforward parking lot setup, but it offers some solid amenities that make it a great pit stop on your journey.

First off, it's free. Yep, you heard that right. You can park here for 24 hours without spending a dime. The campground provides electric hookups (20, 30, and 50 amp), which is a lifesaver, especially in the Texas heat. There's also a dump station and a spot to fill your water tank, so you can take care of all your RV needs in one go.

The campground features a dog park, which is a nice touch if you're traveling with your furry friends. There's also a playground for the kids to burn off some energy. The bathrooms are basic—cinderblock construction with toilets and sinks, but no showers. It's not fancy, but it gets the job done.

One thing to note is the train that runs nearby. It can get a bit noisy, especially late at night and early in the morning, but most folks find it a small price to pay for a free spot with electric hookups.

Visitors have mentioned that the spots are easy to pull through and all paved, though you might encounter some puddles if it’s rained recently. The area can get pretty crowded, so it's a good idea to arrive early in the afternoon to snag a spot.

In summary, Texhoma Park Campground is a practical, no-cost option for RV travelers needing a place to rest for the night. It's got the essentials covered, and the city of Dumas has done a great job providing this service. Safe travels!
