Fremont Lake Campground is located on the east shore of pristine Fremont Lake at an elevation of 7,400 feet, just 7 miles northeast of Pinedale, Wyoming, the nearest full-service community. Water sports and fishing are popular activities on the scenic lake.
The lake provides many recreational activities. Anglers enjoy fishing for lake, rainbow and brown trout, as well as kokanee salmon. Visitors also enjoy boating, sailing, canoeing, kayaking and swimming.

Fremont Lake sits at the foot of the rugged Wind River Range, known for its craggy granite peaks and sparkling glacial lakes. The campground is situated on a forested hillside above the lake. Aspen, Douglas fir, juniper and a dense understory provide shade and privacy between campsites.
The Museum of the Mountain Man in Pinedale features a large collection of Rocky Mountain fur trade era artifacts. Exhibits include American Indian and Mountain Man displays, as well as history of the settlement of Sublette County, Wyoming.

Located just 24 miles north of Pinedale, New Fork Group Campground includes large picnic tables, BBQ stands, a fire ring, and a double vault toilet for your large party needs. Just a short hike away is New Fork Lake, which offers great boating, canoeing and swimming. Anglers fish for kokanee salmon, brook, lake and rainbow trout. A boat ramp is located approximately one mile from the group site. There is no drinking water available and proper food storage is required.

Few sites within the camp area provide picnic tables and fire rings. A boat launch and a vault toilet service the entire dispersed area. This lake has great views of the Wind River Range and is popular for its boating and fishing. Please remember proper Food Storage is required.

The campground is located next to designated Wild and Scenic Granite Creek, offering excellent fishing opportunities right next to the campground. Multiple trails are available very close to the campground and throughout the Granite Creek corridor for hiking, horseback riding and mountain biking.
