The Best Camping Near Martinsburg, West Virginia

Communication was easy since everything was through text. Good hookups.  No bathrooms or showers. You hear the traffic on route 9 but not bad. 

Small and quiet campground 

Great location for exploring Harpers Ferry. Right next to the highway but the noise doesn’t bother us. 

Good location

Unbearable road noise. Reserved for 5 nights but left after one. Literally a couple hundred yards from 
4-lane highway with nothing to block the sound. Truck, car and train noise all night and all day long. 
Good for a one night stay on the way to somewhere else, but not a relaxing camping atmosphere. Left 
message at the office on the way out asking about, but not expecting, some kind of refund for unused 
time. Never received a callback, email or text.
