Campground is located at the fork of the Dungeness and Graywolf Rivers and is a shaded, forested area with evergreen conifers.There are 10 campsites that will accommodate tents. Trailers and motorhomes are not recommended due to steep one lane unpaved road access.

The Best Camping Near Sequim, Washington

This campground seems to be less popular than others on the olympic peninsula. It's located in a great location for day hikes and exploring.  The campground itself is small and a bit dark, but there are several river front sites, and most sites offer at least a bit of privacy. 

An olympic peninsula secret

Beautiful campgrounds, some sites overlooking the bluff. Great trails and right next to The spit. Only issue is that it is a locally run (county?) park and there's no alcohol allowed they are VERY strict about this policy. So if you are looking for a party camping weekend this might not be the best place for you. Also you need to reserve months in advance.

Beautiful location, but no alcohol policy strictly enforced. 

Tiny campground on the river: no reservations, toilets, but no safe water, no trash collection. The drive up was a little intense, but our sedan made it (no RVs!). The closest activities are on the water, but there are many hiking trails close by too. Great basecamp for long day hikes. The campground is bordered on two sides by rivers and you will be lulled to sleep by the sound of the water. Great ambiance. I think this one is less crowded than some.

Secluded rainforest 

We arrived here while beginning our trip around the Olympic peninsula. We unfortunately got caught in rain for almost 2 weeks. This made our exciting trip the washington rain forrest a little less exciting. It is expected to be rainy in the rain forrest clearly. Still in November it was pretty frigid rain and theres no where to dry off in a mini van.

There 8-15 sites here. Not positive. But The are picnic tables and fire rings. The beach and the hiking around here are wonderful. Just rain cold rain kinda bummed out. The campground would be a dream in better weather.

Rain for days.

This campground was closed when I visited in July, but it was a beautiful area off-grid in the woods.

Quiet & serene

The drive to the site was accurately steep with little room on either side. Our 19ft campervan made it up and down but a car did need to pull off to the side for us and back up a ways for us to squeeze by. We did not tow anything behind us and I wouldn’t recommend it. We arrived about 10-10:30pm and managed to find a spot in the dark. There were several open, they all appeared to have a fire pit, parking area for your one vehicle, picnic table, and spot for a tent. Two bathrooms without water were accessible. Right next to the creek/water which was beautiful with wild salmon that we spent the morning fishing for!

Mid week camping might be luckier to find a spot than weekend camping, because there are only 9 sites. It's a cozy loop right by a babbling river with many adventures to be found. Various kinds of edible berries, log bridge, rocks to climb, eddy pools, etc. Pit toilets, picnic tables, and fire pits.

Best little campsite for day hiking Dungeness trails

Beautiful little spot right next to a river that collides with another one. Trees are so beautiful and smell so good. Every site has a fire pit and there is a restroom to use. We love this spot only 1 hour from where we live so we can enjoy without the long drive. Highly recommend but don't want too many to know and take all the spots. Thanks to this app we found it and are just in love. March we woke up to snow just fair warning. 

Private serene 

Nestled in the valley in between two beautiful rivers. Arrived at 1pm on a Friday and just 2 spots left out of about 10. Filled up quickly after and lots of cars stopping to check for spaces.
Lovely big spots with good dispersed facilities - restroom, tables, and fire pits. Some great spots next to the rivers that need to be got early. Brilliant location for hikes all over the valley area, get your spot sorted and then drive up to the many trailheads but hiking from the campsite is great too.
