Great campground. It was very quiet. Sites had plenty of space between them. Great location. Even had WiFi. Not great WiFi but still. It was a nice place.

Clean, well-kept facilities. If you’re hooking up, you’ve got sewer right at the site! Hiking to the top of the plateau is worth it. Tons of little hidden spots along the water to find a place all your own.

Very nice state park. Well managed. Clean. Fishing was fair for walleye, bass. Hiking was abundant. Easy in and out. Could use cable along with water, sewer, electric, hook ups.
Last visited in 2020. New is Wi-Fi. I did remote work off and on. Used to come every year in late summer when water level is low and there are more sand dunes. There's 6 circular FHU loops (back in only), a group camp and cabin loop. In the main campground campsites are well spaced with room in the…

We have stayed here a few times and have thoroughly enjoyed our stay every time. It books up quick on weekends, reservations recommended. Great lakes for fishing close by. Make sure to secure down any camping gear/tents/etc as the wind tends to howl through this area at night.
We went pre-c19 and had a blast. It was cool being able to walk to and from the event, especially if you take advantage of the pre and post event camping. Waaaaay too crowded, so I'll look forward to next time when we aren't so in each other's grill.
Arrived around 2pm to the Douglas Creek Trailhead. The 8 miles of road H to get to Douglas Creek Rec area is gravel, primitive -no signs. Hiked the canyon for ~3miles. Lots of groundhogs and birds. Campsites are roughly half mile from the parking lot for hiking. The gravel road here is much…

This is a good place to camp, but.
While we did have good coverage for our Verizon phones. We got site 98 which backs up to the lake. Great idea, but due to people having no manners, we had people walking through our campsite to get to the water to fish constantly.
This was also the…
We didn’t get to fish but we spent the night here on our way home from Seattle. Great park. Nice views. A fair amount of space between the camp spots. WiFi also.

Steamboat Rock SP, WA
If your using your GPS from Electric City on RT 155 keep going about a half mile after the gps says your there. The entrance will be on the right with a sign.
The whole area was very interesting, orchards, rocks and water. Worth a visit!
We stayed for an overnight. Sage is…

We have visited here twice, once when it was hot during the summer and once this last spring. The spring time was amazing! Granted, it was rather chilly and not a whole lot of people there but it was so quiet and the water was still partially frozen over so the view was incredible from the top of…

As others have said, this campground is on the reservoir at Moses Lake, but it is maybe 20-30 minutes from town. There are really several sections to this campground and they each have a different feel. I am not much of a fisherman, and have always stopped here while traveling, but I have always…
We made a 2 day stop here during the smoky week in September. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The grounds we’re extremely well kept and the pads had all the hookups for the RV. We used all of the biking trails and will be back.
This is a terrific spot not far off the freeway....but far enough that it is very quiet and peaceful. Spring is amazing as the desert flowers are blooming. Watch out for the wind though, it can get really strong.
I usually HATE RV resorts due to the fact that many people do not honor quiet hours, the sites are too small, and the grounds are unkept. This was not the case for Smokiam. The sites are a great size and COVID precautions were greatly taken (temp checks every day). The employees also walk the…
