Best and cleanest campground we have stayed at. Great amenities and close to the national park for hiking and exploring. Luray is a nice little town with some good food options

The tent sites are ON TOP of each other. No trees. Zero seclusion. This is an rv resort.

A beautiful campground with everything a tourist could possible want for a spectacular vacation. Surrounded by dairy farms, the fields of grains leave open space that enables each campsite to have a view of the Blue Ridge mountains in the distance. Each evening, people would come out and turn the colorful patio chairs towards west and enjoy a spectacular sunset. During the day, there is so much to do at the nearby Shenandoah Nation Park, drive down the Blue Ridge Parkway, or visit the caverns or the Artisan Trail businesses full of local handcrafts.

Staff were very nice and helpful and check in was very quick & easy. Some sites are tight for longer units even though it states it can accommodate. The outer edges of the campground are wonderful spots for family and larger units.

My husband and I are fairly new to campground camping. We have always stayed on free camp sites or on friends land. When we arrived at Spacious Skies the office staff was so nice and helpful! I had not made a reservation online because since this was our first time I was unsure of how everything works. Our campsite was clean and had a very nice fire pit and nice Adirondack chairs. We were close to the playground and huge in ground bounce pillow. My 4 kids ages 2-7 had a blast! It was pretty cold but they didn’t seem to mind! Around 4 pm on Saturday we needed more firewood. We called the front office and they brought some up to us so we didn’t have to walk down to the office. All in all I’d give it 5 stars.

Clean, well kept, dog friendly

What we look for in a camp ground is quite, site-seeing, cleanliness, staff, and amenities. This little camp has it all.

The neighbors are far enough that gives it a little bit of privacy and quietness. The mountains view is perfect. And the site was very well maintained with a great staff. Wifi worked just fine too!

The site was level, at least 28 was. You can’t go wrong With the pergola and mountains view. Note that the most pull-thru in the inside of the camp are closers to each other than sites around the camp (the edge of the camp)

Beautiful views. Adjacent to a working farm where cows, sheep, llamas, chickens and roosters can graze next to the campsites.

The grounds were beautifully manicured and incredibly clean.

It also had the largest dog park area of any campground I’ve ever seen.

Very nice pool, friendly staff and firewood available for purchase. They will even deliver right to your site.

Very close to downtown Luray, which has great shops and restaurants. There is a very nice 2 mile long walking trail, the Luray-Hawksbill Greenway, near the campground that will take you right into town.

Also close by to some excellent hiking, wineries, breweries and distilleries.

Usually go camping with a Little Guy teardrop trailer, but with the current state of the country, didn’t feel comfortable with sharing bathroom facilities. We booked Yurt #1. It was fantastic. The place was spotless, well equipped kitchenette, grill, fire pit, comfortable beds. We loved our neighbors the sheep, goats and llamas. Checking in was easy, with the keys and map at the office. Park was clean and well maintained. Dog park is great. Wonderful way to start coming out of quarantine. Great hiking nearby.

We visited this campground for a trip to Luray caverns. The staff was very nice. The campground was very clean and very quiet. The whole area was very well maintained. There is not a camp store, but there is a gas station with a general store very close by. Our campsite had great views of the surrounding fields and mountains. We will definitely go back again!

We stayed at this KOA on our way to Virginia Beach but wanted to a day in Shenandoah National Park.  We didn't do reservations because they wanted us to pay for the entire weekend when we just wanted to stay one night.  But we took a chance and it paid off.  This campground is tucked in the Shenandoah valley...mountains on both sides and nestled next to a farm.  The sites are big and ours backedup to a big field - great for the kids to run.  Nice and quiet campground and clean bathrooms.  The pool was clean and refreshing - so thankful for that because it was in the upper 90s the day we were there.  Great place to stay and wish we had longer.

Absolutely the most charming campground we’ve stayed at. Beautiful views in every direction,extremely dog friendly also. Well appointed sites and well laid out campground. Small but wonderful. We will keep this on the top of our list for fall foliage and a quick 2hr away getaway. We are so glad we discovered this quaint little place in the country just off the beaten path.

We had such a great time at this camp site. Beautiful place, tons to do at the camp ground. Dog friendly, family friendly. Lots were nice, and good size.

This campground is very close to Luray Caverns and all that they have to offer. There is also a Duke's of Hazzard themed museum and store where they do live music on weekends nearby, it's called Cooter's. This campground is very small but quiet. It does border cow pasture land so when the wind shifts you get the smell but it wasn't constant and it wasn't unbearable. They have 2 swimming pools and a very large dog park. The bath houses were clean and well maintained. I would definitely recommend this campground.
