Came to Twin rivers to attend “High Country Bus Festival”, a week of camping for VW vans. Tubing was great, the river is awesome and the staff is extremely friendly.
Second time here for the annual “Vanagons in the Valley” event. Water was great, the town is charming, and the hills are beautiful.
Brought my 4 year old daughter and we had a great time exploring the many streams and trails.
Great place with spaces right on the shenendoah for fishing and tubing/kayaking. Most spots have no electricity or water hookups. Quiet during the week. I have heard that weekends can get a little rowdy.
Great place. Very close to Virginia Beach city limits, but you would never know it. Grounds are all throughout dunes with decent distance from other campers. The beach is a 3 minute walk from most sites.
Went for a weekend vw campout (Buses at Chantilly) and had a blast. We all camped on the hill. There was a concert with an awesome stage, beer tent, and vendors.
Had a great time here with my 3 year old daughter. I would give it 5 stars if it had a camp store. Bring fire wood and all other essentials.
Nice spot with plenty to do with a little one. Train, carousel, fishing.
