Cave Springs operates as a Forest Service campground within the George Washington & Jefferson National Forest, featuring heavily wooded sites with electrical hookups and spacing between camping areas. The facility provides flush toilets and showers, though cleanliness standards can vary. No pets are permitted on the property.
Forest Service hosts make regular rounds, and the campground connects to nearby trail systems leading toward Stone Mountain, though some bridge crossings may require maintenance. Campers report deer sightings near sites and generally quiet conditions during weekday stays. For additional camping options in the region, consider places to camp near Dryden. Weekend crowds can bring noise levels that extend past standard quiet hours.
