Dripping Springs Campground is located near Manila in Ashley National Forest. The terrain consists of forested areas and rocky landscapes. Campers can explore Flaming Gorge Reservoir and Sheep Creek Geological Loop, with temperatures ranging from 30°F in winter to 85°F in summer.

## Overview

 Dripping Springs Campground is situated at an elevation of 6,000 feet in rolling high desert terrain near Flaming Gorge Reservoir. The campground is part of the Flaming Gorge National Recreation Area in the Ashley National Forest. Campers frequent Dripping Springs for its close proximity to the Green River and Little Hole, both of which offer excellent rafting and world-class fishing opportunities.
## Recreation

 Dripping Springs is surrounded by places to boat, raft, fish, hike and mountain bike. Little Hole Boat Launch and Day-Use Area on the Green River is nearby, offering great rainbow, brown and cutthroat trout fishing. The 7-mile Little Hole National Recreation Trail begins near the campground, meandering along the Green River from Flaming Gorge Dam. The trail can be done in shorter segments or as a whole. Flaming Gorge National Recreation Area is known not only for its beautiful red cliffs but also for its world-class fishing, boating, hiking, camping, water skiing, jet skiing, canoeing, kayaking, swimming and scuba diving. ## Natural Features

 Nearly every site within the campground offers scenic reservoir and mountain views. Russian olive trees and cottonwoods dot the rolling, sagebrush-covered landscape. Shade is limited, and temperatures range from warm days to cool nights.

 Flaming Gorge Dam offers guided tours of the working hydroelectric plant and the dam, and the adjacent visitor center contains area history exhibits.

I love staying here after fishing the green river. Its in between Little hole and Dutch John. I stayed on Memorial day weekend and there was still plenty of room. Lots of big spots for tent of trailers. Really nice tables and pavilions and nice bathrooms. 

Great place to camp after fishing.

Great campground.  The sites are separate enough where you're not to close to your neighbors.  The area was burned several years ago, so there are no trees.  However, the grass has grown back in and its still a very, VERY beautiful campground (IMO). I was able to get a spot on back to back weekends despite not having a reservation (Lucky, maybe).b The bathrooms are clean and if you park further back in the campground, that bathroom has a flushable toilet, sink and an air dryer for your hands. Pretty impressive.

Great campground, well laid out and very clean and maintained.  Camp host on site very informative and friendly.  23 sites but only 5 are FF. $23/$11.50 senior per nite. Water spigots, vault toilets, tables, fire rings trash dumpsters and shade canopies. Everything is good shape and working order. Cell signal was a surprise and att, Verizon and TMobile seem to have couple bars LTE.  Only downside is this entire area was burned by a wildfire in 2006 and all trees around are dead and no shade.  The CG does seems to have some planted pines but only 10ft tall at the moment.  There are also 4-5 group sites and they are $127 nite.
