Downtown Moab

Convenient location in downtown Moab, behind a Texaco station. We liked having one night in town, as we could walk to the restaurants, shops and stores. The RV sites are close together, water, electric hookups available. Each site has a picnic table and fire ring. The restrooms, showers, laundry are a bit dated, but clean with hot water. With the convenience, however, there is a good deal of road and highway noise. If we went back, I'd ask for a site toward the back of the park.

Great location

We stayed here for 4 nights this November and loved it. It was cold and snowy in Moab so there was plenty of space in the CG. Good sites with plenty of space, concrete pads, well-functioning hookups. Right in the middle of town. Easy walking distance ro shops, restaurants, grocery store, etc. Didn't use bathrooms ao can't comment on them.

Nice campground

Each campsite has trees and you park on level cement pads. Each campsite has a picnic table. Be aware it is right next to the high-school so you hear marching band early in the morning. Other then that that park is quite at night. Bathrooms seem pretty clean.

Bad bad bad

Do not go with the “rugged tent spots”- dustiest and right backed up to the road and uneven parking. Wifi doesn’t reach and there are porta potties that were not useable. People at front were rude and the whole experience was just bad. The rv area was okay but jammed packed, no space.

Great location for a last minute stay!

This was a great find for us. We were planning on doing BLm camping while in moab but after a 90 degree hike with our dogs we thought it better to be plugged into AC for them and we were able to just walk to downtown. They also have a pool and the staff was super friendly. Totally recommend!!!

Great Convince, location. An RV park

I tent camped here for a few days with my young children while we explored the local National Parks. There were ample convinces, including running water and a pinick table at each tent site, two separate bathrooms/showers locations within the park, sinks for dishes, laundromat, an outdoor pool (kids loved the pool), and a gas station/convenience store. The basic campsite was decent, although small and hard to drive tent stakes into the hard sand ground. There were shade trees thoughout the park. Also, there's a playground and grassy areas for group gatherings. Nice location in the heart of Moab. Only downsides are it being a busy, noisy, dusty, non-remote RV park. Definitely a good value for the price.

Probably won’t stay here again

Not good camping. If you can, avoid campsites T1-4. You literally have a parking lot next to your tent and even the street lights shining on you. It is INREDIBLY loud. The bathrooms by the site are portable. The showers are way far from campsites, but very nice. The pool and location is fantastic! It’s the reason why I have stayed here so many times. There is also a cool playground for the kids. Maybe it’s just me getting older, but I probably won’t stay here again. We even left a day early because we didn’t want to endure another crappy night of sleep.

Pretty nice

Great facilities, able to walk around town from camp, upkept, clean and seemed safe.

Downfalls would be our ability to hear traffic from our tent camp. And the small area designated for each tent site.

We used it as a restarting point to regroup, do laundry, shower, repack and move onto the next portion of our trip. Also came back for showers on our way through town.

Wonderful hidden gem in town

This little hidden gem in the middle of Moab is great. It's clean, quaint and right in the center of town. We can't wait to get back there.

Downtown Moab, tight RV sites

Very, very tight RV spaces. Had to park truck perpendicular to trailer. At times we were blocked by neighbors vehicles, but they had nowhere else to park. Had to wait to leave because exiting from our site was blocked anytime someone used the dump station. Would be horrible for a one night stay. They have a “dog park” that is tiny. Pretty useless except for very small dogs. It is very obvious they tried to maximize the number of sites at the expense of ease of access.

The good things are the rest rooms were clean, the sites did have some shade, concrete pads for parking RV, and (depending on if this matters to you) it is right in town in Moab with easy walk to numerous restaurants, shops, and stores.

Canyonlands RV Resort & Campground

While it's "nice" it is in a terrible location, it's hard to get on and off the street, it's hard to get around in with anything of size, only the tent spots have fire rings, and the high school band is across the fence every morning at 0600! But, at least it's really expensive.

This picture is the only one I could bring myself to take.

Very peaceful for being in the center of town

We got to Moab late on a Saturday and decided to use a RV park campground instead of a more primitive site. This place was great! We camped in the very back of the park, across the creek from the main campground. It was very quite and peaceful because all of the back sites were tent only. The creek was easily crossed in our VW Beetle. The sites were fair sized and had an easy two minute walk across the footbridge to the showers and restrooms. The picnic table had a shade to cover it but there were plenty of trees and canyon walls to provide natural shade throughout the day. There is a CV store at the entrance for any supplies, groceries or gas. We didn’t use the pool area but it looked nice. It was a very well maintained and cared for campground that I would certainly recommend to anyone!

Cool

Clean, quiet RV & tent campground right in Moab. Lots of beautiful, mature trees. Really liked that the sites had paved pads for RV parking. Gravel on the roads is well maintained for easy driving & walking. Overall beautiful and peaceful to camp
