Wonderful State Park. Sites are big. Campground and restrooms are clean.
We’ve been coming here with friends for years in tent, cabin, pop up camper, and now travel trailer.
Getting to it with a large rig is readily doable, but not easy as you drive up a mountain and along curvy roads.
We stayed a couple of nights while hiking in the area. Reasonable sized RV sites width wise. Pull through sites would not be long enough for a one night stay where we want leave truck hitched to 32’ trailer. Clean campground and restrooms.
Close to the interstate and easy to access. RV sites have decent amount of room. Bathrooms were clean.
Consistently windy for the several days we were there.
Follow their directions, not GPS, if coming from the south.
The woman that checked us in was nice, but the younger women that was “helping” others was quite snarky.
Very, very tight RV spaces. Had to park truck perpendicular to trailer. At times we were blocked by neighbors vehicles, but they had nowhere else to park. Had to wait to leave because exiting from our site was blocked anytime someone used the dump station. Would be horrible for a one night stay. They have a “dog park” that is tiny. Pretty useless except for very small dogs. It is very obvious they tried to maximize the number of sites at the expense of ease of access.
The good things are the rest rooms were clean, the sites did have some shade, concrete pads for parking RV, and (depending on if this matters to you) it is right in town in Moab with easy walk to numerous restaurants, shops, and stores.
Easy access to Interstate. Pull through sites plenty long enough for our truck and 32’ trailer without having to unhitch. Stayed just one night as we passed through.
Good space between sites.
Easy access to Interstate and pull through sites were long enough for our truck and 32’ trailer without having to unhitch. Stayed just one night as we passed through. Looked like it would be a good place to stay for multiple nights.
Clean campground. Nice grounds. Two good fenced dog parks.
Only negatives were our hookups were literally in the next site next to their table, and their fire ring was very close to our trailer.
Campground was well decorated for Halloween including scheduled Trick or Treating for the kids. Lots of activities for kids at the campground and the surrounding area of Chattanooga and the nearby mountains.
Campground was clean. Sites provided some space, trees, and weren’t jammed together. Our site was a little tricky to back into.
A little bit of a drive from the Interstate, but still close enough for just one overnight stay.
Stopped just for the night as we passed through. Easy access to interstate. Pull through sites were long enough for our truck & camper so we didn’t have to unhitch for one night. Sites were not all jammed together. Bathrooms were clean. Grounds were well maintained. Staff was friendly.
Looks like it would be really good for multiple night stay as well.
