Not great for Rv
The road is terrible the further you drive in. We have a 24 ft Rv and thought we were going to tip over at numerous spots. The sites are great but are spread very far apart. If you can get into sites 1 to 7 it may be ok.

This was a great spot!! Literally 5 minutes outside of Bryce Canyon National Park. But beware if you come late these spots do fill up. We got here at around 11am and set up before doing the park. Had we not we would not have gotten a spot so keep that in mind. Sites are spaced out and we had a large level one for our tent. Great stay.
Lots if dispersed options and not too close to anyone and only 6 minutes from the Bryce Canyon entrance. We snagged a really flat site too, perfect for tent camping. And the stars! My oh my, I swear the Milky Way was glowing!
Pulled up around 4pm on a Monday and there were only a couple people, lots of empty space. Camp spots are marked clearly and have fire circles. The “road” is a bit bumpy but nothing a regular suv/truck/van can’t handle!
It does get very busy on the weekends, but it was cool at night and plenty of space.
Dave’s Hollow Designated Camping has quite a few sites but seems to fill up quickly since it’s just outside of Bryce Canyon NP. There are designated campsites (see attached map).
It is a good place in the forest There are lots of signs No camping, but campers occupy all spots 😂 I just drove inside the forest Many deer and birds Bugs also are present))
Definitely show up sooner rather than later, there are lots of spots but they fill up quickly.
Followed directions for Dave’s Hollow, found site #3 which is beautiful, and large and level. Based on previous ruts, it might be miserable in the rain. Great solar gain for such a nice wooded spot.
Turn off is right before national park sign. Road is okay. Made it with a low clearance van even with some rough bits. Plenty of quiet private sites right off the road. Beautiful and makes getting into park so easy
Super remote, the location was great not far at all from the entrance to Bryce Canyon NP. Fire pits and lots of trees for shade.
Great spot.
Close to Bryce Canyon Entrance
I’d guess 20 sites from Maps.
Passed 10 to get to ours. 2 were occupied 8 open at 3P on a Friday.
Around 5:30-6P vans started rolling by us.
I’d say get here by 4P for a guaranteed spot on the weekend.
Beautifully shaded open sites. About 3-5acres/site.
Just writing this looking as cars pass. Definitely get here by 5P
Wide open sandy areas in a beautiful forest right outside of town and the park entrance. Can’t believe these are free. No amenities whatsoever. Still had a little cell service with Verizon. I didn’t end up getting to camp though because it ended up snowing a few enriches and all I have is a cheap little tent. I went in mid April and it was predicted to be 17° that night so not many people but I imagine in summer this fills up crazy fast and would try to get there midday to find a place.
Watch conditions as it rained a few days before and was really muddy in the trails. Paired with melting snow truck slid a tad. Overall great location, full 5G AT&T and open spot options
Easy to find . We had site #20 which was a bit uneven. Saw white tailed deer near the road before entering! Really quiet
It’s a beautiful area but with the recent weather the road into the camping area was closed. Very wet and slick mud. I’ll try again next time though.
Enough room for two vehicles, three at a push. It was just us so no problem, fairly level and a great nights sleep.
The area was very easy to find and very quiet. I arrived as sunset and only saw one camper. I know it is the end of the season, but other places right now are packed.
Make sure you camp in a designated spot, marked with posts and numbers.
T-Mobile work...2 bar LTE
We rented a van from Escape camper vans and this spot of easy to find and get to! We saw a lot of people with campers and vans. We kept driving until site 10 which was the first one that was empty at about an hour before sunset. Very private and lots of fire wood! Right outside of Bryce NP. As we left early in the morning people were pulled off the side of the rode. Looked like they were just looking for a place to park overnight.
Super easy to find and clearly marked sites. The road is a bit bumpy, but we were fine taking our time in our camper van. Lots of space between sites. The trees are gorgeous. & it’s super close to the entrance of Bryce Canyon National Park. Highly recommend this spot!
Great area! Super close to bryce canyon which is convenient. There were tons of spots, a lot were taken, seemed like a popular area. We had to drive a little to find an empty one. Beautiful area, lots of trees, we found a good spot and walked up the hill and had a nice view. The drive wasn’t too bumpy.
That was our firts experience in wild RV camping and this place was perfect.
Do not park near the road if you can avoid it. Ruined our time here as groups with dirt bikes and ATVs speeding by. We could eat outside for the dust. We live in Utah so are used to it but spots are too close to the road and people don’t respect campers and slow down to limit dust.
To cool! So close to the park entrance great place to camp , i went pretty far in and found a beautiful meadow spot Tons of spots and awesome location
I was surprised this was free! Area is very organized. 5min from the park entrance. Campsites are spread out enough where you feel alone but are within eye site of each other. I like that for safety.
Primitive camping at designated sights, lots to choose from, came in on a Saturday and went for the third site we came across open, most were full for memorial weekend. But we still found a delightfully private spot where you see no one from any side, just a little close to the road.
We got here Sat of Memorial Day WE. Still able to find a nice spot Trees around. Just outside entrance to Bryce NP. Made going in for sunrise so much easier
The road get narrow and rough, but we are up in the pines right next to Bryce Canyon Park. We have a spot just off the road, but there are clearly marked areas for camping all along this dirt road. Cars can drive it easily
Sites were very private. Most have fire pits and are spacious. Safe feeling and close to Bryce Canyon. Only downside is how cold it is!
This little area is so close to Bryce, we camped literally less than a mile away from the park entrance, for free, can't beat it. Sites are numbered and you are required to park in a designated spot, not true dispersed camping FYI. We got there at 8pm on a Thursday and had no problem finding a spot. Road is mildly rutted. A car could make it if you are extremely careful, anything from small SUVs and larger will have no problem. We saw trailers, vans, and even a small school bus.
