Clean and quiet
Very quiet, clean with fun activities. Movies to borrow and books to read. Staff is great, great location.

I felt unsafe in the neighborhood, but the actual campground was okay. A small patch of grass, fencing around and didn't use any amenities as we stayed one night. We were in San Antonio on a dreary, rainy day so it wasn't our best experience. This park had all we needed but I would not recommend any of the nearby areas to shop or dine. It is close to the Riverwalk and this is a fun place to visit, dine and take a river cruise.
Really nice and well kept, close to DT and the river walk bike trail. To the trail s. To three more missions. Any rain let a lot of puddling.
Campground is nice. Parking spots are level. Plenty of amenities. Showers and restrooms are very nice. Park seems well-maintained. We had some heavy rain prior to getting here and spots were flooded. Biggest issue I have is power connections on some of the sites we were in site 89 was on the opposite side therefore couldn’t run for 50 amp power had to run 30 amp. Check your site and make sure you have plenty of cord or that the power is on the correct side for your RV
Very nice campground with all amenities. The area can be sketchy but no issues inside the campground and never had any issue outside. WiFi works great for streaming. Spots are nice. Everyone is very friendly. Everything is within a 10 min drive. Can hear some road noise but wasn’t an issue for me. Overall a nice campground and would deft recommend and stay here again.
Clean, shade, friendly and helpful staff. Across street is bus stop to take you downtown!
Clean grounds, clean bathroom/shower. Friendly, helpful staff. High water pressure; you'll need a pressure regulator. They sell them at the office! Bus stop across the street will take you downtown.
Well it felt like an oasis…we had stayed in Van Horn the night before! Nice folks, very well kept. Sister to Lone Star RVP in Austin
This is an excellent place to stay if you want to check out San Antonio as it is in town and there is a bus stop which the park gives you a schedule for.
This RV park has everything you want and then some. Laundry room was great with lots of machines. There is also a heated pool and hot tub, excellent clean showers, gym and yoga, mini golf, TV/activities room and small store in the office that has a few RV necessities like sewer parts and also some souvenirs. They also have bulk propane they can fill on board tanks.
The lady when checked us in was very nice. The place is expensive though! We had a back in spot with full hook ups $65/night. We came here because it was 1 mile to my friend’s house and were expecting a Passport America discount but they said they do not currently offer that discount. The expense was worth it for convenience of being so close to downtown San Antonio but we only stayed the one night. The park also offers cabins. Good cell reception ATT and Verizon.
Stayed here for awhile and loved everything about it. One of the best parks I've ever stayed at. Outstanding water pressure, level sites, picnic tables at each site. The place is spotless. Loved the pool and hot tub. The place has to many amenities to even list. Must stay!
Called and received same day reservation for back-in site. AARP discount knocked $5 off of cost. Clean pool, restroom/showers, laundry room. Laundry machines $2 ea. payable by coin, cc, or app.
This park is a little nicer than ones we stay in, but we really enjoyed it. The park is right on the awesome bike path and we were able to park and not drive anywhere for the week-long stay. We biked downtown to check everything out and also biked to the missions. It’s awesome being so close to the bike path. The facilities are really nice too. They have a pool that we didn’t use but looked super popular as well as a gym that was great. The staff was really nice as well. Also, if you don’t want to bike– there is a bus stop right at the park that is really convenient.
Plan to stay here as long as you can. We made this an overnight stop. Big mistake. One cannot even explore this park in a day, let alone see San Antonio. Amenities, to list a few are: pool, mini golf, pickle ball, rec hall, community fire pit and more. Visit the River Walk and Alamo! You need at least a week in this area.
When you first roll up I felt a bit skeptical. Surrounding area appeared to be rough bars on windows Homeless foot traffic seemed high. Once you get inside the park it changed. Very well kept up park no trash anywhere and friendly people. Our spot fit my 33 ft bumper pull and mega cab just right. The pool was smaller in size but very clean and well kept. The place that surprised me was just how nice the laundry room was. With little people accidents are expected but they all happened same time so had to wash some items. The laundry room was super nice 8 very clean washers and 8 dryers smelled super nice and had a TV just in case you felt like waiting. I would visit this place again as we had no issues with the surroundings plus pretty good breakfast tacos across the street.
We stayed here a few days and enjoyed the cleanliness, gentle vibe the place offered.
There are great perks to staying here if just wanting to chill in the RV. But, it’s also close to the nearby attractions such as, the Alamo, The Mission state park and the River Walk. We enjoyed the amenities and the quiet gentle vibes of the RV park.
Perks include: pool tables, pickle ball, hot tub, pool and tennis courts!
Overall, I can’t imagine you would be disappointed unless you were expecting some large acre nature RV park, but it’s downtown and quiet...what more could you ask for!?
Friendly staff, clean and well maintain, very close to downtown area.
We stayed here at the camp ground for a week. It’s a decent campground with a pool, hot tub, dog walk, minigolf and a playground for kids. Facilities are clean and grounds are well kept. Very close to the riverwalk and downtown. There’s even a bike trail into downtown. But this park is in a bad part of town. When we pulled into our site the lady next door told us to make sure we lock up our bikes. They have had theirs stolen in the past. On our fourth night here my husbands bike was stolen. We had two locks on the bikes. A cable lock and a kryptonite lock and both were cut. They didn’t take my bike, I guess because they didn’t have enough hands to take it. We ended up having to keep my bike inside our rv. And the park has no security or gate. And the neighbor next door told us at one point the thieves were cutting the fence to get to peoples bikes. Just be cautious if you plan to stay here.
Awesome place to see the sights in and around San Antonio. Short drive to the Missions and the River walk. Can’t believe there is a campground so convenient to everything. Looking forward to returning.
located right next to the San Antonio river, you are just a few miles from the famed San Antonio Riverwalk and many of the historic Missions in the area. The easy access to the river affords you miles and miles of bike and walking paths. The sites are spacious, and well maintained. The pool is refreshing, the laundry facilities are top notch and the bath houses we perfect. We stayed a few days in July, then again in August and lastly September. And do yourself a favor, look up Rays Drive Inn, it’s worth the drive to get San Antonio’s best puffy tacos.
Pretty nice for an RV park. Nice pool area. Close to the river walk, which is very well maintained. Sites are small, but there is a little green area next to each. Be sure to follow their directions and not your GPS, as there is a very low bridge one way and bottom scraping RR crossing another.
It is almost exactly what you’d expect and want. A pricey place to stay, but very close to downtown San Antonio with all the amenities and services you would expect to find and a high end RV resort. Laundry, a dog park, free WiFi, large paved roads and well spaced sites. Showers were in great shape and staff were incredibly friendly. If you have the cash and want to be close to downtown, this is the place!
Great campground. very clean and maintained.
