Very nice park

Beautiful clean park with great facilities and amenities. Large concrete pads and shuttle to the casino. Perfect place to stop for a night or a week.

Nice park

It was a few years back that we stayed here. Just a park at that time. Lots of full timers.

A favorite place to stay

Great park, inexpensive and great views. Lots of space, and lots of trees.

Great Location

Right on the river, this city owned rv park is close to everything. And you can walk across the bridge to the Clinton Library.

Wonderful Park

everything you’d expect from a State Park. Great hiking and trails, great atmosphere, and away from the hustle.

Nice Park

Nice park, great facilities, but make sure to have your receipt handy. We stayed and paid for 3 nights but the manager tried to say we didn’t pay for the 3rd night and was at our site trying to collect. Was there to view the eclipse, and had a great time otherwise.

Don’t let the name fool you

Great park just south of Kansas City. Very quiet, great owners and staff.

Great Location

The park is set up in several sections. There is the family campground which we were in, and the late night campground, which is intended for late night drinking and music. the areas are separated by about a quarter mile, but you could definitely hear all the goings on at the late night side, and the police, ambulance then coroner that showed up the next morning was not good. Seems someone passed at the late night. Park overall was kind of run down, sites kind of tight, no animal control as dogs roaming the park doing their business. Then there is the river, which is why you come to the park. Had a great time floating the river.

Quaint little park

We stayed the week before the park officially opened, and found it to be a great little COE park. Right on the water.

Hey BooBoo

Great fun family park. Lots for everyone to do from the water park, paintball, hayrides, fishing and more. Nice little camp store

Maybe the Best in DFW

Just one persons opinion, but this place is one of our favorite in the Metroplex. We have stayed here off and on over the last 3 years. The park is very clean, having done lots of updates. All of the amenities you would want in a park, plus lots and lots of trees. Everything is clean. Nice pool, kids playground, exercise area, clean baths and great laundry. Staff is friendly, and you have to meet the best park ranger ever. His name is Cowboy. But you don’t come to DFW just to hang out at the park. There is major shopping just up the street, Cowboys football and Rangers baseball only a few miles away, plus 6 Flags amusement park. The only thing I can knock about it is that it’s a little pricey.

Great park

Very clean park, lots to offer. Right on the lake with a wonderful park for the kiddos, a pavilion, fishing, boating, a beach area to lounge and play in the water. Nice camp store, even had free donuts and coffee on the Saturday were there. And if you want to leave the park, it’s close to everything from shopping, golf, Dallas and Fort Worth. Sites are spaced out well. Just be sure to book way in advance as they stay pretty busy

Great get away spot

Nice little State Park close to DFW. The park was quiet (as in not many campers) when we were there. Only complaint was the water was extremely dirty, but that could have been attributed to a large amount of rain the day we got there.

Great hidden gem

located right next to the San Antonio river, you are just a few miles from the famed San Antonio Riverwalk and many of the historic Missions in the area. The easy access to the river affords you miles and miles of bike and walking paths. The sites are spacious, and well maintained. The pool is refreshing, the laundry facilities are top notch and the bath houses we perfect. We stayed a few days in July, then again in August and lastly September. And do yourself a favor, look up Rays Drive Inn, it’s worth the drive to get San Antonio’s best puffy tacos.
