Awesome family atmosphere
We stayed in the TeePee and it was definitely an experience our family will cherish forever. Awesome staff as well.

We just needed a small spot for the night with our teardrop, they provided a wonderful trailer spot just in time to avoid a really hard rain. Really grateful for these guys!
Lots of noise since it’s off the highway. Has running water and bathrooms at least.
First experience with a KOA. Easily accessible from the highway. Felt clean and secure. Staff was friendly.
We arrived on a Saturday, and there was a food truck at one of the sites!
There was no fire pit at our site, and we fell asleep to the familiar sounds of highway traffic.
Made a decent one night stop to start on route to Yellowstone, and will consider stopping through here again, but not as a destination.
This is a transient campground, It is in an industrial park, noisy from traffic and constant planes flying over from nearby airport. It was clean.
Convenient to Sioux Falls arts and night life district. RV park is located just a block off of I-90 for easy access. Good location about 4 miles north of the Sioux Falls Park (waterfalls on Great Sioux River near downtown) and a couple more miles to the south in downtown is a great mile or more of restaurants, breweries, bars and other entertainment.
Great staff. Easy to pull in & around. Has everything you need plus camping world next door. Mature trust for shade. Pool is good.
Right next to a Camping World! Nice spot, clean grounds awesome hosts.
Staff was friendly and welcoming. Facilities were excellent!
We had no reservations and pulled right in and were greeted with friendly staff! We got a spot and decided to drive downtown instead of bike. If you have bikes, you can ride, plenty of sidewalks and room, 4.5 miles. The park was perfect for what we were looking for overnight. We did laundry also! Everything was very clean! And I did not think it was noisy at all given it was off of the 90. Great place!
This place is managed very well, and they certainly make the best with what they are given. I would strongly recommend this campground for anyone passing through for the night.
It is right next to the interstate, so it is of course noisy.
We stayed at a tent site, on our way out to Steamboat, and it was a much better than expected offering. It is a KOA, with that said. My expectations were exceeded.
Kudos to the super friendly, and helpful staff.
Rating 3 stars, because it is not, imo a true camping experience.
There’s a fair size staff working; you could see 3-5 people at any given time. Good selection in store open 8am to 9pm in July. Nice size pool and laundry room. Store seemed well stocked with a variety of items. The mini golf was the only thing run down but the kids played it 3 times and didn’t care.
There were 2 bathroom/shower houses both nice. The one by the laundry and game room seemed newer.
Laundry and bathrooms open 24 hours. Game room closed at 9pm.
Everyone was extremely nice and customer oriented there.
We upgraded to a patio so as not to drag everything out for one night. Very nice. I can’t comment on the grill as we “glamped” on our 5th night from PA and ordered Uber Eats. A friendly worker escorted the driver to our site via golf cart. There are also trees throughout and fences to give you a feeling of privacy. We pulled through the space and used risers to level it.
I used the laundry room and shower. Both were nice. They even had a full length mirror in the shower area. We’d stay there again and recommend.
Edit: My grandsons loved this because there was enough to do but “peaceful” too. Their words so we stopped on our return back from Yellowstone.
If you need a quick night stop right off the interstate or a couple of days to explore the city this is a perfect location. Clean bathrooms, nice pool, friendly staff, and roomy camp areas.
A quick two night stay here on the edge of Sioux Falls. Super-clean bathrooms and showers, office lady, Mary, was a riot, a pool and a playground for the kids, and just minutes to downtown.
We decided to stay at this campground because it was close to Falls Park. It’s 4 miles away from the KOA to Downtown. It wasn’t crowded, very clean, met lots of Texans and the pet areas were awesome! In fact, Sioux Falls is a very dog-friendly city and was able to take my dog everywhere! The showers were great if you don’t want to use your own in your camper, but they have laundry and such if you need it. We were close to the showers, pet area and laundry house. Yea, it’s next to a Camping World but you know what, it was a great stay with nice folks and the road noise really isn’t a problem, especially if you just go in your camper and watch tv because you shouldn’t be there for that. 🙃 They just opened for the season so they are still adding some things but I would recommend! We were grateful to stay and not travel during 50mph winds.
For an overnight stay at a commercial campground it’s what you would expect. Sites are close together. Clean. Convenient place to stop when traveling through. I highly recommend a stop at Sioux Falls.
Loud and crowded campsite. We were butted up on both sides to two RVs with maybe 10 feet on either side. The campground itself is well maintained, but it's right off I90 with no barrier/trees, and happens to be less than a mile from Sioux Falls regional airport, which also happens to be an Air National Guard base. Loud. We used it as a quick stopover which was fine, but I can't imagine spending any time here.
We did a quick overnight here on our way out to the Black Hills. The staff was courteous the campground was clean. The General Store was nice. We would have been very happy here for more than one night
Incredibly friendly and helpful staff! A little on the small side but good for an overnight stop! We used it as a stop over for our trip to Badlands NP
We are new to the KOA chain and just learned they are on a tiered system. This location is a journey KOA, which means it is right off the highway and more of a place to stop than a nature experience. We were so grateful we choose to stay in a cabin (which had a/c) the tent sites are literally in parking spaces next to each other in the grass surrounding a child’s play area...rude. There are bright lights around the buildings that shine into your sites. The pool has a chain link fence around it. Because we were in a cabin with the air running, the highway noise was significantly muted. However if that’s not your situation, I’d seriously reconsider. The bathrooms were not up to the regular KOA standards I had come to expect. They just didn’t feel/look clean. The bed was not terrible and we were able to get a good night sleep. I don’t plan on staying at journey locations in the future unless absolutely necessary.
This is a drive through and stay the night kind of campground. Road noise isn’t to bad with the interstate next door. Has a pool and mini golf course for the kids.
We stayed on our way from IL to Black Hills SD. Super easy access as well as easy pull through. Level enough to not unhook. Nice play area and pool. Also a neat little micro brewery walking distance, across the road. Very nice staff and an RV dealer next door. Very close to I-90 and it’s noise, but that comes with the easy access.
Visiting family in Sioux Falls. The campground facilities (bathrooms, showers) were very clean as was their small general store. Mini golf course could use some work. Right on I90 so road noise is an issue. The managers were extremely friendly and accommodating.
The bathrooms are very nice compared to a lot of KOA’s. A/C in buildings, clean, large laundry facility ($2 for 30 minute washer, $0.25 for 10 minutes of dryer), game room, indoor pavilion/storm shelter in case of rain, large dishwashing sink, and lots of available water spigots. There’s lots of RV sites, and a large grassy area for tents randomly spread out. It is right next to I-90 so it’s a bit noisy from that but it’s super easy to get to off the highway!!
Great accommodation and large RV sites
Only stayed one night, but very nice campground! Nice sites and everything was very clean and well kept!!
Our stay here was perfect! We don’t usually stay at campgrounds Bc we prefer dispersed camping but this was great. We requested a specific site and they were very accommodating. So friendly. Impressed with the camp store. Everything clean and well maintained. We got a spot right in front of the playground which was perfect for our toddler. The trees provided nice shade. They even let us drive our car up. There’s also a brewery in walking distance.
