Awesome
Our go to place! Have been there all seasons and it never disappoints. Right on the beach. If you stay 6 they have you 7th day free.

The place is very nice. We go every summer for a week but it seems like each year it falls a little more and more. The security are very serious about their job and almost had to show proof to a security guard that we were in the right spot while trying to back in. Sites are close but to be expected on the beach. Nice pool features with the pirate ship and lazy river. The beach is full but never packed. Lots of extras to do.
We had a great time here at the beach and fishing the lazy river was a plus!!!!

Friendly staff, clean and relaxed enviroment, easy beach access. Amazing trip, already booked out next trip.
This a a busy campground that is fun for the whole family. They have food trucks that serve really good BBQ. Pools indoors an out. Beach access mini golf. Ice cream shop. You can rent golf carts. They have great fishing ponds. I do wish they could get the sand spurs on the sites under control. Bathhouses are new and clean. We like going here in the off season when it’s not so crowded.
Ggrass sites some concrete pads cable not very good
Not a ton for kids to do off season. But we still had a good experience from front desk to check out.

It’s great how they pick up the trash.
What I didn’t like,
ANYWAY THEY CAN MAKE MONEY OFF THEY WILL, including YOUR VISITORS, $3per day time, if they wanna stay $5.
Mini golf costs.
One load of laundry will cost you $2, dryer $.25 for 6 minutes.
If you need to get a taxi, forget about it NO ONE is allowed on grounds without a pass.
Excessive barking of your puppy means your dog might bark for three minutes at the time. Leaving your dog in a fenced in area, while you have to use the facilities for number one( so what? About 2 minutes) is considered leaving your animal unsupervised.
Lawn WILL BE MOWED ON SUNDAYS, NO(!!!!!!!!) exceptions.
Pool is great, so is the lazy river.
Besides that the ground is old, it’s clean. Access to the Atlantic is great.
Mail will not be delivered, you have to sieve through your initials entire mail.
Quiet hours are enforced UNLESS someone starts packing up at 5.00 AM which will set your dog off and no matter that it is inside your trailer, it’s a reason to threaten you with eviction.
Best you get rid of the dog before you enter Pirateland.
Kids friendly. Youngsters seem to have fun at the splash pool. Playground seems to be deserted all the time.
Staff, cleaning and grounds keeping, is very friendly, while office won’t let you finish your sentences after paying up, nor are they willing to answer questions why breaking down a camp next to you at 5 AM loudly is okay.
Don’t attach Republican bumper stickers to your car, they’ll fall of the car at night.
The internet sucks, cable has moments when overloaded, but cell is great, so one may use personal hot spot as compensation.
Trailers also arrive at 21.00. No one can get setting up done in an hour until quiet time starts, but remember dogs aren’t allowed to bark if they hear ruckus outside.
If you ask me about my feelings, I felt like a prisoner, not being able to sleep in Monday’s, because I had to drive hubby to airport at 4 AM, due to his business trips and cabs can’t puck him up, I’m confined to the RV due to my dog barking, which had to be stopped even in your own trailer immediately.and yes, we were threatened with eviction.

Had a great time. 4th of July parade was great, kids stayed busy with things to do. Wonderful vacation
This was a really fun campground. Lots of activities. Golf cart rentals were so reasonably priced. The staff was really great. We will definitely come back. The waterpark on the grounds was perfect and safe, you can sit in the shade and your children can splash and play. The lazy river was great too! Off grounds Inlet plantation offered really great horseback riding, Dolly Partons dinner theatre pirate themed show was fabulous.

This is a big beautiful campground with sites right up to the dunes with the beautiful Atlantic on the other side. Lots of activities, golf cart rental is reasonably priced and a really cute store. Check out the pirate themed dinner theatre in Dolly Parton theatre, and horse back riding at inlet plantation. Great trip!
beach was clean, kids on golf carts -dangerous. pool and lazy river close and convenient.

Family oriented location is good, full hookups, newly renovated bathhouse
close to all the fun places but gated and safe to let the kids loose. water park in center of campground. I advise spending the extra money for a site on the beach!!! worth it. they have cabins too.
Our family has loved coming here for many years. It's such a fun experience walking out of your camper and right onto the beach. The campground is very well maintained and they have some amazing amenities. The pool is absolutely gorgeous and we love the lazy river. We also love the golf cart rentals and the "golf cart parades" they have each night. Highly, highly, highly recommend this place!
Oceanfront lots look to be the best spots “if” you can get one. We were on Schooner and to say it was tight getting into our spot is an UNDERSTATEMENT!! Thankfully, campers are very helpful people ( they also can park your camper/trailer for you if needed) Not a lot of water pressure in the bathhouse showers but clean! Would’ve just liked a bit more breathing room.
Great campground with tons of stuff to do including easy beach access. The pool with lazy river is to die for. Only downfall is the sites are a little close.
Nuce bathrooms, great restaurant and store!
Nice campground and nice size RVillage spaces with easy access
The kids pool and lazy river are great. Store is well stocked and not too expensive. Beach is close.
I camped here several times when I was younger as a boy scout. It is situated right next to the beach. There is an indoor pool and a big splash park on the grounds. There is a big shower house, laundry facility, and an arcade club house. We were given special permission to tent camp as a boy scout troop. It is mainly for big campers, but they allow tents on site with campers. They have man made water canal that snakes through the campsite where you can rent canoes and paddle boats. The entrance to Pirate land is situated right on the myrtle strip where there are the beach stores and restaurants. Your only ten minutes from the skyward and family kingdom. Overall Pirate land is a family oriented grounds that also has an onsite grocery store for your basic foods and essentials.

Of all the campground choices in the southern tip of Myrtle Beach, this is one of the least family friendly. There are by far more parties that go on here than any other campground. The sites are ok, and while there are plenty of activities for the family, the main areas are not as nicely maintained than other area campgrounds.
Other private campgrounds right down the highway have more security presence and enforce family friendliness. We didn't experience that here during a couple of stays.
This is such a great place, with multiple pools, a lazy river, cabins and golf carts to rent, right on the ocean, what more can you ask for? There is an arcade as well as so many activities AND an ice cream shop (this is the first time I had Moose tracks Ice cream). Yum!
There are quite a few campgrounds in the area to choose from and this is among the best. I've camped here, swam here, explored the beach here, worked here, gotten to know many of the staff, and even hosted a triathlon here. You just can't beat Pirateland in summer or winter. If you don't want to camp in a tent, they have quite a few trailers and cabins for rent that are pretty nice. If you don't have a bike, you can even rent a golf cart and roll your way around. If you bring a kayak, there are some great salt marsh areas to check out as well.
