Nice established spot but pricy

Nice flat sites would be good for small rigs, you can put your tent behind or next to the rv spot/table because the tent stakes aren’t gonna go in on the main part of the pad where everyone has been putting their campers (found out the hard way, lots of rocks and roots lol). Picnic table, fire ring, pit toilet with tissue. No running water. Was $25 a night for a tent spot in July which is pretty high considering no water. Close to freeway but was quiet.

Decent camping stop

Wolf Creek was a nice, quiet place to stop for the night. The hosts were very pleasant and helped us find a spot. The sites weren’t very spacious however, and not a lot of level areas (for an RV). Would not recommend Class A Motorhome as our sprinter had a rough go of the groups. Very pretty spot however-with lots of places to walk your dogs!

Rough around the edges

Has so much potential! We enjoyed the stay but we’re on high alert a bit. Between 80% of the spots being vacant on a Saturday and a homeless guy on the far end, this place didn’t put off the safest vibes. That said, our #8 spot amenities - fire, table, water, electricity and spot - were great. And it was fun to have the place to ourselves. Didn’t have to worry about being too loud. Dogs had a blast off leash (although leashes are required…we didn’t have to keep them from anyone.) The little creek was fun for them.

Lots of Weird In and Out Traffic

This could be a really nice campground. It is a bit rundown and overgrown, though sites along the creek were nice. We drove in and did not need a reservation, but reservations are available 3 days in advance.

Non hookup sites are $15 and partial hookup sites are $25.

The host did not come around that we saw but they were working on their truck with seats torn out and a lot of stuff laying around their site covered in tarps.

There is both dry and hook up sites with electric and water but no sewer hookups. The dump station was locked and appeared not to have been used in a long time so unsure if it is available to use or not.

Driving through the campground we noticed that the hook up sites were really unlevel and narrow access from trees and low hanging branches. We were able to get site #13 (non hook up) with level enough spot for our 26ft rig. There were only a few other campers and those appeared to be fairly settled in long term.

Towards the evening there was a lot of in and out traffic and strange things going on. One guy parked his car near us then searched the woods for calling out for someone then left. Later there was a guy that pulled up in a truck with his headlights shining in the woods got out walked in the woods then got back in his truck and left. There were some campers that came in throughout the night and we hear lots of talking and lots of flashlights in the woods in all directions, then cars and trucks coming and going from that site as well. Needless to say it was an unrestful night and I won’t be back. I also read online about hauntings at the Inn down the street and missing people.

The toilets are wooden shacks with pit toilets. No showers. There is a disc golf but only saw a few cages. Garbage and water are available. Good cell reception.

Nice Scenery

Its a nice little campground. I think its a little expensive for tent camping at $15 a night. Also the out houses are kinda weird. They aren’t normal USFS pit toilets, they are out houses.

Nice quiet place to camp.

I like this place, especially if you have kids. They have a park in the middle of the campground, and a Baseball field. They have a few sites that have enough space for my very large tent, not a lot of places do.

Quiet, convenient, great for a night or two!

It is located close to I-5, so it is easy to get to. There are some really nice sites by the creek. It is quiet, has beautiful scenery. There are some sites with full hook ups. There are only outhouses and no showers, so that's why it's good if you're only staying a night or two and are tent camping. We have camped here a couple of times and it hasn't disappointed.
