Lake Linda is a private 6 acre lake that's located on our family's 40 acre property. We are just 5 minutes from Surf City & Topsail Island, & 20 minutes from both Wilmington & Jacksonville. You'll often see ducks & geese on the lake. Lake Linda is a peaceful place, but conveniently located within a few minutes of food, entertainment, and of course some beautiful beaches.



You can also see what Lake Linda looks like in the winter by watching Season 8 Episode 6 of ABC's The Great Christmas Light Fight! Lake Linda's Christmas Lights is a light display surrounding the Lake and synchronized to music. It's our own winter wonderland. In 2021, Lake Linda's Christmas Lights became a 501(c)3 non profit organization. Located in a bucolic setting that features wooded pathways on its perimeter, the property is also home to a few chickens and goats! Wilmington is known for its vibrant downtown and award-winning Riverwalk. Located along the Cape Fear River, in recent years there has been an explosion of new restaurants, breweries and boutiques as well as art galleries and gift stores for visitors to enjoy. Fresh local seafood and farm-to-table menus are common at award-winning and chef-inspired restaurants. Downtown Wilmington is also the home of the Live Nation’s first ever waterfront amphitheater the featuring headliners playing at the Live Oak Pavilion. And it’s all only 5 minutes away from Castle Hayne Farm Park!! Visitors will also want to “beach it” during their stay; nearby Wrightsville Beach is known for its pristine beaches and low-key vibe.

104 acres of peace and quiet for your enjoyment. This site would be best suited for tent campers at the moment due to no bath houses or electricity for the time being. Come enjoy your stay bring a kayak or canoe and float around the 6 acres of ponds and catch some of the many bass, bream or crappie that occupy the waters. My property is located 7 miles off highway 74/76 in Whiteville and 10 miles to Lake Waccamaw. 32 miles to Ocean Isle Beach, 45 miles to Wilmington, 36 miles to North Myrtle Beach. Also in the pictures the grass hasn’t been cut and the tin hasn’t been put back on the picnic area by the pond. These things will be done before your stay! The road is grassy/dirt I would recommend a suv or truck for your stay. When there’s no burn ban in place or lack of rain i do try to keep firewood on-site but I recommend checking with me before your stay. I am new to this so please give me a chance to get everything squared away on the page. If you have any questions feel free to e mail me! I am currently working on getting the new roof installed on the shelter and the well operational upfront. If you book you will have the entire property for you and your party.

Welcome to Winner's RV Park, on the coast of North Carolina in scenic Carolina Beach. As the only dedicated RV Park on the island, we offer full hook-ups and are conveniently located in the heart of Carolina Beach, within walking distance of the beach, fishing fleet, dining and nightlife.

Located just 15 miles south of I-40 and historic Wilmington, North Carolina, our guests enjoy such attractions as the Battleship USS North Carolina, historic downtown Wilmington, the North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher, the Fort Fisher Confederate Museum and Battleground, the Southport Ferry, fishing piers, the Winner Fishing Fleet, charter fishing boats, miles of beaches, Freeman Park and the North Carolina State Park at Fort Fisher.

Situated on land that has been in the Winner family since the 1800s, the goal of our family is to provide an enjoyable RV experience for your family during your stay at Carolina Beach. We warmly welcome families, pets on leashes, fishermen (and women), vacationers and tourists. If your RV requires 50 amp service, we will be happy to accommodate you.

Reservations are suggested, especially during Memorial Day, the Azalea Festival, July 4th, and Labor Day. We look forward to having you as our guest!

Not all campsites have identical amenities. Read the campsite information on the reservations website to see photos of campsites; check availability and fees; find out whether a specific site is wheelchair accessible, has access to water, bathouses or pit toilets, or has electric hookup; and learn other important information.

The park's family campground is located in a wooded area near Snow's Cut.

There are 69 campsites with no hook-ups, including two wheelchair-accessible sites. Ten campsites have full hookups (water, electric and sewer), including one wheelchair-accessible site.

Each site is equipped with a picnic table and grill or fire ring. Drinking water and restrooms with hot showers are located nearby.

 Camper cabins
In addition to the 79 campsites, the park has four camper cabins located in the family campground. These camping cabins sleep six people in two rooms, one with a double bed and one with two sets of bunk beds. Each cabin has electrical outlets and a heating and air-conditioning unit. Outside each cabin, there is a picnic table, charcoal grill and a fire ring. Drinking water and restrooms with hot showers are located nearby.

Group camping
There are also two camping areas for organized groups located along Swamp Trail and are available by reservation only. Site #1 accommodates up to 26 people; site #2 accommodates up to 40 people. These areas include two picnic tables, grills/fire rings and pit toilets. Water and shower facilities are not available. This area is accessible only by foot and is located approximately 400 yards from the Flytrap Trail parking area. Reservations can be made by contacting the park marina office.

With a marina providing access to some of North Carolina's best fishing spots, a secluded camping area beneath towering trees, and miles of hiking trails that traverse a variety of distinct habitats—not to mention the presence of the Venus flytrap, one of the world's most unique carnivorous plants—it's no wonder Carolina Beach State Park is a popular coastal attraction. Beach Camping NC is located in an area steeped in both history and natural diversity, the park includes a visitor's center with exhibits depicting the wonders of its environment.

Residents and visitors have long enjoyed the beach area now known as Freeman Park. In fact, the area has become one of Carolina Beach's major attractions as it is one of the only beaches in NC that you can drive your 4X4 vehicle on. 

Whether coming to the area to swim, camp, fish, or go boating, crabbing or casting for minnows, people love Freeman Park. Visitors are drawn to the beautiful beach with its variety of wildlife, dunes and majestic sea grasses indigenous to the region.

Overnight camping is only allowed in designated, reserved camp sites Labor Day through the Thursday before Memorial Day each year.  Reservations are on a first come/first service basis.  During this period, there is a $50.00 per night fee for a campsite permit.  

NO OVERNIGHT CAMPING is allowed the Friday before Memorial day through the Sunday before Labor Day.

Visitors and campers driving 4-wheel drive vehicles must have a valid Freeman Park access pass at all times to enter the park (can be purchased online or in person at entrance to park). Camping permits can only be purchased on-line.

Fort Fisher Air Force Recreation Area (FFAFRA) is Federal land owned and managed by the United States Air Force, the Army National Guard, and MOTSU (Military Ocean Terminal Sunny Point). FFAFRA's primary purpose is to offer recreational activities and lodging as well as training events for DOD eligible groups. There are cottages and lodge rooms along with RV and tent sites for rent by authorized persons with proper DOD identification. There are also meeting rooms, a Military Museum, and facilities available for special events, team building, and official exercises. Come and see why “Ft.
