Well maintained campground with lots of activities- hiking, swimming, fishing, games (ping pong tables, horseshoes, arcade, etc.) just to name a few. Camp sites are spacious and semi-private.
This was my first time at this campground. The staff is really friendly and helpful, the store has all the necessities and the grounds are well kept. The bathrooms were clean and everything was in working order. The fishing was so-so; I think the fish have caught on to the catch and release plan! It was a bit rainy and chilly for swimming on this trip but my kids enjoyed some bike riding, hiking, basketball and a few arcade games! I loved that we got a moderate hike without having to leave the property! Will definitely visit again!
This was my first time staying here and I couldn’t have been more pleased! The current owners purchased the campground a little over a year ago and have made numerous upgrades. All of the bathrooms have been redone, they are opening up more hiking trails on the property, and bad parts of the road have been paved. The staff was more than friedly. We actually left a day early because of a large storm that was about to come through the area and they gave us credit for another day to use when we come back, because we definitely will be. All of the sites on the property were well set up and each had access to water and electric. We were tent camping but there are also sites for campers, and they even have cabins for rent. The hiking trails were clearly marked and had some wonderful views and waterfalls!
