A Mountain View Vacation is a privately owned property with amazing year round views of the Blue Ridge Parkway, Looking Glass Rock and the Little River Valley. There are two RV campsites available for our 55+ campers giving you peace and privacy that is often missing in traditional campgrounds. We are located in beautiful Penrose, NC also known as the Little River Valley, located 8 miles from downtown Brevard, 15 miles from downtown Hendersonville, only 7 miles from Dupont State Forest or 7 miles from the entrance to the Pisgah National Forest. This location is ideal for those wanting to explore the mountains, enjoy the many amazing waterfalls, Transylvania County is home to over 250 unique waterfalls, or just hang out and enjoy the scenery.

Pull-behind 30 ft or less
(please note that these sites are designed for motorcoaches to pull right in but a pull-behind will have to back in, this means your door will not open up to the view. We have had many pull-behind campers and no one has said this was a problem but we want you to know before booking.)

A Mountain View Vacation is located at 1025 Jeter Mountain Rd Penrose NC 28766. From Hwy 64 at the new Marathon Triangle Stop in Penrose, turn on Crab Creek Road, go 1.1 miles to a left on Jeter Mountain Rd, drive 1 mile to the mailbox on the left, continue past the driveway for 0.3 miles to Mountain Meadows, here you will find a wide area to turn around and head down the mountain, this will allow you to enter the driveway level.
