The Best Camping Near Henderson, Nevada

We stayed here for a night before returning our rented Escape camper van in the morning. They had a ton of facilities like showers (free), laundry(paid), pool and restaurant and convenience store. Close to the Las Vegas strip.

Quick stop to end our trip

Great location right off the freeway. Large, manicured spots. Many pull through. Bathrooms and free showers. Walked in with no reservations and they easily accommodated us. Full hookups. Lots of amenities and services however we didn’t use any since we pulled in late and left early.

Great location 

We have been coming here since 2003 in our 38’ Monaco Diplomat. By far, this is the nicest, SAFE campground in Las Vegas. It is pricey though but worth the money. All concrete pads with different levels of price..ie: closer to the pools, more expensive etc. Located in the south end of Vegas at I-15 and Blue Diamond Rd. Park landscape, restrooms and facilities are immaculate. Security is on 24/7 at the front entrance and all about thru the park. It is a “5” Star Park without a question. Too much to say about here other than give it a try. It is a resort and well worth the peace of mind.

Friendly and very well maintained. A real gem in the Desert!

For those traveling to Vegas in an RV it sometimes might be a bit difficult to find something which offers the glitz of Vegas with the space of an RV Park. This site offers both to those wanting a quick jump into all the action, deluxe accommodations and views and sensibility for their travel style.

I visited this park when staying in Las Vegas to see what I could expect if returning as a mere traveler instead of resident. They do offer daily and monthly rates which was different than many of the RV areas which offer only nightly pass through accommodations. Depending on the size of your rig prices vary as well as day of the week or holiday. From $47 to $84\. I noticed that the sites I liked most were closer to the pool but also were a bit more costly. Those seemed to have the advantage of being closer to the action but with that also game some negative in that sometimes people tramp through your site on the way to the action.

This park has a monthly event calendar much like a resort so you always have something going on, a huge plus in the city that never sleeps. They also offer promos to those staying who want to venture toward the strip in way of discounts provided by the resort to shows, shuttles and such.

The pool rivals the pools on the strip with beauty and comfort and is divided into an adult and family style pool for those wanting to enjoy a day out with or without children.

All in all for the feel of Vegas I feel this place is better than other RV resorts or parks. As a whole it provides a more complete Vegas feel and while it might have a higher price tag than some the quality of experience is much higher. the level of maintenance is better and perhaps the most impressive is the security of the facility. Many lots are exposed to the traffic of homeless population of Vegas, however this lot has full security as well as seclusion from those elements which could make RV experience a bit less comfortable.

TIPS:

* Take advantage of the shuttle service to the strip rather than detaching from your rig and taking your own vehicle. Parking in Vegas is a bit tough to find and unless you are wanting to pay to park there are only a couple of free lots (Fashion Show Mall, Miracle Mile Shops and Circus Circus)

* Check out one of the Cirque shows with discount tickets from the resort. The shows are about an hour and a half to two hours long and are one of the most unique things you will see when in Vegas.

This place has it all. Great pools, close to the strip, mini mart, restaurant etc. great for when you are on the road and want to hit the LV Strip up. This is not close to any mountain areas or hikes. 

Great place to hang in between travels.

After having had our car broken into at a hotel parking lot on The Strip we didn't feel safe leaving our RV in a hotel parking lot while we attended a concert.  Not only felt safe but liked the very clean shower/ restrooms, full hookups and level concrete pads. Lots of amenities from pool to onsite cafe.   Not our normal place to stay and more than we would normally pay but really enjoyed having a place to leave our rv without worrying.  Conveniently located for an easy Uber/Lyft to The Strip.

Safe with easy access to the Strip 

Easy drive/ stroll this campground, large sites with full hookups and concrete pads for easy level setup. Fun times at the separate swimming pool area for adults and kids which is open late for some night swimming. 18 hole mini golf course, restaurant, and mini mart onsite. Easy taxi or uber ride to the strip. Not scenic by any means but comfortable, safe, quiet, and secure location. 

Relax and Glamp

Great place outside the huddle and bustle of Vegas.  Adult pool, level concrete sites, full hookups, grill on site and one of the best park stores I have been in.  Would have given a 5 except for poor wifi

The staff is always been helpful and amazing! The pool is always super clean as well as the bathrooms and the laundry room. You could not ask for a better place to stay!

This place really is a resort and brings camping/RVing to a new level.  Located just off Las Vegas Blvd on the south end of the trip.  This campground is awesome and the prices are great!  If you’re coming to Vegas and want to save money or are a snowbird this is a well appointed home away from home. I included a photo of the map so you can see the layout of the property.

Oasis...🤠 in Las Vegas 

Oasis is a great location to spend a night or two if you want to jaunt into Vegas for bit. It’s also very central as an overnight for heading into Utah or Nevada from SoCal. We spent a night here along our journey and appreciated the ease of every step, they’re very thoughtful about the process of check-in. It’s all very accessible and navigable. The resort amenities were largely closed due to COVID19 but everything looked nice! They took decent precautions for social distancing as well. It’s close to the freeway and not exactly scenic but for proximity to Vegas, gateway to other locations and amenities, it’s a good option!

Easy & well-planned 

Super clean and well maintained. Mini golf and a pool plus a lobby that offers food and happy hour specials. Showers and bathrooms throughout the park. tables at each spot, charcoal grills and full hook ups. Air, water and dump station on site. 

RV haven 

I’ve stayed here twice, both times just for the night to break up my drives, so I can’t speak for the amenities but it’s overall a nice place if you want to stop in this area. The bathrooms were clean and well maintained. They have a check in person at the entrance so the place feels safe.

Expensive 

Clean, well laid out, amenity filled, and easy. Just off the interstate yet still quiet. Easy to forget you’re in the middle of a big city. Was a fantastic place to stop over for the night!

Staff is awesome, sites are a little small but you’re on the Vegas Strip, baby. It’s quiet, clean, two pools, a snack bar with the nicest staff! Security. This is a great place to stay and still enjoy Vegas. 

Nice Ambiance 

Lots of everything at this park.  2 pools, bar, restaurant,  dog runs, store, meeting rooms, security and more.  Extra clean showers and bathrooms. Quick access from I-15.  Only complaint is that it is a little noisy from the nearby freeway.

We have stayed here many times, including a 7 month stay when we first moved to Vegas. 

There are so many positive points about this campground.

  

First, the Staff is awesome and ready to help you with any issue.  This is very consistent whether it’s the front desk or landscapers. 

  

Some of the sites are a little small but you’re on the Vegas Strip and the amenities are fabulous.  It’s quiet, clean, two pools, a snack bar and a very yummy restaurant. This is a great place to stay and enjoy all the wonders of Vegas.

Last time we stayed here I think I counted about 7 times we broke ... ‘cause there are so many rules! No pit bulls, no exterior steps not integrated into the camper, no storing things outside the camper, camper age restrictions and inspections ... thank goodness it’s expensive and completely packed. 😃 But feels safe with WiFi and clean bathrooms, completely adequate for a quick overnight.

Close enough to the strip yet far enough away.  Easy access to shopping and casinos.  The pools are great as is the service.  

Great place to stay in Vegas

Convenient stop for when staying in Vegas.

Convenient

First time using our RV in this type of campground, easy access and pull through sites as well as back in. Concrete and gravel area with a picnic table, showers and bathrooms, water hookup and 30/50 amp power also provided WIFI with a password access.

We upgraded to a Premium Site - Site #103. Level, concrete Site. Bit close to the neighbors but not super tight.  Good cell service on T-Mobile and AT&amp;T.  Laundry room clean with plenty of washer/dryers. Close to a grocery store and great pet store should you need pet food and supplies as well!  About a 15 minute Uber ride to the strip.  And very easy to get an Uber. Designated Uber pickup and drop off at the Lobby.  We would stay again!

Resort feel!

This place is ginormous! Easy check in and easy pull throughs. Clean &amp; quiet. Big rigs are accepted. Nice amenities. I would stay here again. Prices are fair as well.

Stayed here a week while attending a rv rally.  Showers super clean, rv repair trucks on site as well as detailers and septic services.  Concrete pads, level, close to stores, restsurant on site, pools...uber services etc

This place has everything

True "concrete jungle" camping with all the amenities one would expect from a Las Vegas resort.
Will visit again and again.

True Las Vegas Oasis

Very dog friendly, staff very nice, great little store, nice pool area. Security 24-7 was on point. Close enough to the strip to come and go. Uber pick up at the front main building. We would stay here again if coming to Vegas. Only negatives we had was freeway noise ( not horrible but constant) and evening Wi-Fi not good.

Great place to RV staying 

2 days of heat, but the pools were nice, bathrooms were great,  and not too far from everything (15 minutes max).

Easy site to visit Las Vegas. Next to the freeway. Swimming pool and shop available. 



Nice and easy

Check in was rather seamless. The entrance is attractive. 

Huge park with over 800 spots. Hard to see numbers after dark so make sure you have your map and know the street names to turn on. 

Bathrooms are clean and the park in general is clean. No mention of a pet area and we did not find a good spot to take our dogs other than the pavement through the park and our small gravel patch in our site. We rented a standard site for our van and car. Spaces are close together like many RV places. 

We had an okay meal at the cafe and appreciate that this is on site. Had a killer margarita at the cafe bar.

They pack them in here.  Right next to another.  Nice clean park though, pool, palm trees, small store.  Central to a lot of amenities like Bass Pro

Overall your “resort” style RV resort 10 mins from the strip. Very large campground and check in is like the dmv of campgrounds. Night security is great. Sites are all close together since there so many of them. Easy to back in.

We were here for 2 nights, visiting Vegas. we chose this place because of the amenities and the pool for our daughter. it's been perfect for our needs. Friendly staff, quick check in, very clean, great pool. really everything you need is here. The only I would say, is that there is a bug road on a bridge very close to the side of the park where we were.  It's rather noisy, but hey, you're in Vegas, not out in nature...


Well kept place with all the amenities you can dream off

This resort has everything with a Tropical/Vegas flare. Onsite convenience store, bar, cafe, and multiple restroom/laundry facilities. If the Vegas Strip is what you like, it's only 20 minutes away. We prefer Freemont Street which is 25 minutes away. This place is an Oasis, away from the hustle and bustle. Refill propane on-site. The only negative thing is they do not provide valet trash pickup(as mentioned by a staff member). Uber/Lyft on your trips for Vegas activities, traffic is a nightmare on I-15 close to the strip exits. Go to Bootleggers restaurant just around the corner for some amazing Italian food. Smiths grocery is just around the corner as well.

A fabulous resort, a great Snowbird destination.

Nice comfortable parking for RV any size with restrooms, showers, electric and water sources! Safe and convenient! Cost a little too high. We paid $89 for 1 night.
