This US Forest Service campground operates from July 4 through October 15 in the Nezperce National Forest. Sourdough Saddle features both forested areas and open terrain, with lake access nearby. The seasonal schedule reflects high-elevation conditions that limit accessibility during winter and spring months.
Campers can explore the broader region through camping spots around Nezperce National Forest. Rainy Day Campground provides a dispersed camping alternative about six miles northeast for those preferring a different setup.
