Beautiful campground with great hiking and incredible views! West rim is more secluded and quiet but East Rim is more convenient access to the visitor center, trail head and other activities. Wonderful camping here… we can’t wait to go back.
This is a great, cozy campground! Major canopy coverage provides shade and seclusion. Many great family activities available at the visitors center. These were the CLEANEST bathhouses I’ve been to in my life.
We had site 30 A and it was easy to back into with the trailer and we was within walking distance to the water. Definitely would recommend and plan on going back!
We just purchased a camper and wanted somewhere close by but still a very beautiful view. I’ve been here a million times as a kid to fish but never to camp. We absolutely loved how easy and clean the area was! Super quite and an absolute amazing experience by the water. If you go pay extra for a…
This is a popular campground, especially the campsite we booked 10 months ago. There are deer all over and the Bay Side 4.3 mile trail is really nice. The kayaking is great. There are lots of small islands to kayak to with small beaches so you can hang out for a while. One of the beaches had a…

Nothing but weird Christmas lights and Christian retreat stations. Felt like we were in a horror movie. After driving all night and arriving at midnight decided best to get out of here. Settled for a parking lot instead of death
Camped at walk in site, nice space, basic bathrooms short hike away. Lots of wildlife!! We saw everything from raccoons, deer, and turkeys to coyotes and evidence of a bear visit. Beautiful park area to explore!! Mimimal spotty cell service for anyone wondering.
Easy to get to. Clean. Well managed. Spots are large enough for Big Rigs. Nice sites with view. Only wish they had clubhouse.
We love Vogel! My husband and I grew up going to Vogel as children, and now get to take our little guy and watch him fall in love with it like we did. Clean facilities, hiking trails, swimming lake, creeks, and so much more. It’s a family favorite for us!!
This place is very beautiful lots to do very clean and the staff very friendly recommend to anyone
Beautifully laid out into separate areas for RV, small pull-behind campers and tents. Must take the hike to top of Standing Indian Mountain to appreciate the legend behind the campground name. There's a small, convenient "store" for forgotten essentials. Really striking creek separating the first…
Had and idea at 2 am the night before to go camping. Next morning packed up and head here. Found this nice place. I’m kinda reluctant to tell people about it because it a small paradise nestled along the banks. I’ve never really enjoyed the mountains, but after staying here I do t think I’ll ever…

This is a state park in the north Georgia mountains and is great for cooling off from the Atlanta metro heat of the summer. The campground is well maintained and the bathhouses are very clean (they have individual ones). The park has some great hiking trails from easy (lake trail), moderate…

What a pretty place! Nice size campsite with no dedicated spot to pitch the tent but multiple options bc it is multi level with the fire pit down low in a separate hang out area. We did have a difficult time staking the tent with our tiny stakes so make sure you have titanium, the gravel is tough!…
