    Peaceful & clean camp ground with trout access

    After arriving to the campsite, there were a large variety of grounds to park your car on, half with water access and the other across a small road.     Natural beauty

    Great fishing! Pretty basic with bathrooms, fire rings and picnic tables. Small campground pretty busy. No reservations so you take your chances. Overall its quiet and beautiful.

    Close to the AT

    On the banks of Rock Creek, these gravel spots offer wonderful fishing and hiking opportunities; with the Appalachian and Benton MacKaye trails close by.     Directions

    From Blue Ridge, GA take US 515 north for 4 miles to GA Hwy. 60; turn right and go 2 miles to Morganton. In Morganton, turn right on GA 60 south for 14.5 miles. Turn right on Forest Service Road 69 (Chattahoochee National Fish Hatchery Road) for 5.2 miles to campground. From Dahlonega, GA take GA Hwy. 60 north for 26 miles; turn left on Forest Service Road 69 for 5.2 miles to campground.
