If you have a 4x4 vehicle and can make your way toward the trailhead for south Mt Elbert, there are some amazing spots. A few spots allow you to pull off and set up a tent with great views. The site we stayed in was about 50 ft from the trailhead and could accommodate a group! It was right on the end of Lily Ponds, so a bit buggy, but absolutely beautiful and very private. Also a great point to start your hike from!
